Arrowhead Country Club is accepting applications for full-time seasonal golf course maintenance laborers.
The grounds crew reports to the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent and is responsible for performing all work details related to general golf course maintenance and for operating maintenance equipment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Use walking and riding greens mowers, tee mowers, rough mowers, rollers, carts, push mowers, and a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools to maintain the golf course and clubhouse grounds.
• Hand rake and maintain bunkers
• Repair ball marks on greens and fill in divots on tees and fairways
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Work closely with other golf course maintenance employees performing job assignments
Perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance, club grounds and construction. This includes raking, mowing, trimming of bushes, mulching, irrigation, digging holes, and clearing debris such as fallen limbs and branches.
Clean and maintain equipment that is used. Treat all equipment with care and respect.
Qualifications
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle to drive
• Must be able to stand and walk several hours at a time
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
