The volunteers at the trail are closing in on a ten mile loop! Along with several connectors. Much of the trail, if not all of it, has been cleaned of debris and is awaiting rubber and sole! And Spring has sprung at the park. Go enjoy a ride, a walk with a friend or furry friend, and enjoy what Lee S. Jones has to offer!

Hello trail aficionados! For the past few weeks, a group of volunteers have worked very hard to do much-needed maintenance work at Hammond Creek. So far, nearly all treefalls have been removed, and in excess of 95% of the trail has been dragged and cleared of debris. Bridges have been repaired or replaced. Future work planned will be the addition of berms and banking parts of the trail to make for a more exhilarating mountain biking experience. Leaf fall in the coming weeks will be a challenge, but expectations are that most of the trail will be blown free of them, or other measures will be taken to ensure the visibility of the trail. So come and enjoy hiking and biking, jogging, and running on this great Lyon County trail system!

The Orange Highland Trail, Yellow Lowland Trail, the Yellow-Orange "Sarcophagus Hill", and parts of Green were rediscovered today. Hopefully in a week or so you will be able to see the trail again! When I was out there today I got lost a few times...
