We chased Lake Erie walleye almost to Cleveland — but one of the best parts of the trip happened OFF the water.
The Dipnet Pro-Staff crew loaded the gear and headed east, taking a little Detroit River fishing culture across Lake Erie with us.
Along the way, we stopped at Erie Outfitters to meet owner Craig.
What was supposed to be a stop turned into something we'll remember.
Craig treated this entire crew like family.
And that's exactly what makes the Great Lakes fishing community special.
From the Detroit River to Lake Erie, we're fishing different stretches of water—but we're connected by the same fishery, the same passion and many of the same people who dedicate their lives to it.
