Zimmerman’s Freestyle Martial Arts in Eau Claire offers UNLIMITED classed in Freestyle Martial Arts, Submission Grappling, Weapons, and FightFit training for all ages. We combine many different styles of martial arts unlike any other place in the area. Attention everyone! 📣 Tonight marks the start of the 2023 Freestyle Open presented by Zimmerman's Freestyle Martial Arts. Our youth fighters have been training hard for this moment 💪 and we couldn't be more proud of them. The divisions are sparring 🥊, grappling 🤼, and pankration 🤜💥 and the action kicks off at 5:30 pm ⏰.

We invite you to come and witness the dedication, skill, and heart of our young martial artists as they compete against other talented fighters. Competition is not just about winning 🥇, but also about personal growth 🌱, building confidence 💪, and developing valuable life skills that will serve them well beyond the mat 🥋.

Are you ready to be inspired by the some of the incredible women in our martial arts program? Meet 🥋 Mrs. Sarah Stevens, 🥋 Mrs. Jenny Stevens, 🥋 Mrs. Kayla Flanders, and 🥋 Mrs. Roxie Schmidt, four amazing women who will be competing in our upcoming intra-school tournament, the 2023 Freestyle Open in the grappling division.

These women are not only dedicated martial artists but also strong, confident and inspiring role models for all. 💪 They have put in countless hours of hard work and training, and we couldn't be prouder to have them representing our studio.

But it's not just about competition. Grappling, in particular, has many benefits for all students, especially women. 🤼‍♀️ Grappling is a form of martial arts that involves close combat and ground fighting. It teaches students how to defend themselves in real-life situations, giving them the confidence to handle any physical altercation that may arise.

But perhaps the most important benefit of grappling is that it empowers women. 👩‍👧 In a world where women are often subject to physical and emotional abuse, learning grappling can give them the skills and confidence to defend themselves against attackers. It also teaches them how to be aware of their surroundings, how to assess threats and how to react appropriately in dangerous situations.

These women are a testament to the power of grappling and the benefits of martial arts training. They have worked hard to develop their skills, both physical and mental, and they are an inspiration to us all.
