UWEC Mutual Support Society UWEC Traditional Martial Arts Club; formerly the UWEC Hwa Rang Do Club Hwa Rang Do is a comprehensive traditional Korean martial art.

Rather than limiting ourselves to only one area of focus, Hwa Rang Do allows the student to train in several areas of studies and skill sets. These include standard kick-punch fighting, joint manipulations, throws, various weapons training, an open handed sparring program that includes throws and takedowns, a ground fighting program, as well as a traditional weapon sparring program.

Welcome back students, classes start up in McPhee 101 on Tuesday September 5th. Class from 7-8pm and 8-9pm. Come as you are for new students and in uniform for returning students. We will get back into the swing of things together and build another great year as a team.

Classes start Tuesday, that means we are back in the full swing of things! Class 7 to 8 and 8 to 9 Tuesday evening in the McPhee lower wrestling room, room 101. Come in workout clothes and ready to have some fun with the new curriculum.

It was a great Saturday spent with Wisconsin Hwa Rang Do Community. We were all happy to see Master Kijek up for testing and seminar and a surprise visit from Kyo Sa Nim Pivec. Congrats to all the testers from Madison, River Falls and of course the UWEC Club.
