How was everyone’s Memorial Day. Did you have a good workout. Did anyone do the MURPH! If so today would be a great recover day. Here are something’s that you can do for a recover day. Prioritize Deep Sleep: Aim for 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep. Tissue growth, blood flow, and critical muscle repair happen primarily during deep sleep stages.Maintain Your Nutrition: Eat balanced meals with complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and protein. Your body requires the same fuel to rebuild tissue on rest days as it does on training days.Increase Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Proper hydration regulates body temperature, lubricates joints, and prevents muscle cramping.Reset Your Nervous System: Incorporate passive relaxation techniques. Practices like meditation, deep breathwork, or taking a warm bath help lower cortisol and reduce overall muscle tension.
