Spring blossoms meet gravel racing. 😍

What started as a cotton-candy paint job turned into one of the wildest S-Works CruX 5 builds we’ve assembled yet! 🔧

RED XPLR AXS Drivetrain.
Roval Rapide Cockpit.
Sakura Blossom Handebar Tape.
GravelKing SS Limited Edition Sakura Tires in 45mm.
SLT by Headset for lightning-quick steering and razor-sharp handling.
Mk0 Ceramic Bottom Bracket for maximum efficiency and durability.
Tubeless Valves and Sealant .
SGV64 Carbon Wheels; 64mm deep, 32mm internal, 40mm external, carbon spokes, Rollingstar hubs with ceramic bearings.

The result? An aero-focused gravel wheelset weighing just 1300 grams and a complete bike tipping the scales at only 16 lbs! 🤯

Fast enough for the road. Capable enough for gravel. Pretty enough to stop traffic.

Build of the Day // Project Jade 🌿

A S-Works Epic 9 in custom Impasto Green tipping the scales at just 20 lbs, built for one purpose: going fast between the tape. 🏁

A lighter 110mm SID Ultimate SL Flight Attendant replaces the stock 120mm SID Ultimate Flight Attendant.

Drivetrain is full XX SL Transmission, spinning a 38T power meter chainring attached to EEWings aka Sweet Wings. Huge win now that they’re available in an 8-bolt interface.

The Control Integrated Cockpit 2 and S-Works’s 3D-Printed Power Saddle nailed the fit paired with Roval Control SL rigid seatpost as droppers are just unnecessary weight for Midwest XC riding. 😉

Rolling on XC930 Flyweight rims laced with and Hydra 2 Hubs shod with Dubnital for a wheelset that’s ridiculously light without sacrificing durability.

The finishing touches? bearings, Mk0 components and titanium hardware throughout.

Custom textured 3M vinyl decals from . Huge thanks to our reps for securing this frameset. 💕

Sorry for the Latergram and slight MIA on socials. 👀 We’ve been busy in the best way possible, building about a bike a week since February! 🚲

Huge THANK YOU to this incredible community for the continued support! It has been unreal and doesn’t go unnoticed. 🙏🏻

And somehow… April 1 marks THREE YEARS of Compass Bike Lab. Wild, grateful and fired up for what’s next: ☕️😉

We’ve also been grinding behind the scenes on our website. Now live with supplier integration + in-store pickup. Go take a peek… the catalog is deep.

Alright, back to bikes:

A return customer build. We built her a Chumba Titanium Hardtail MTB aka ‘Mabel’ so the only logical next step is a Chumba Titanium Gravel/All-Road Bike aka ‘Terlingua SL’.

Premium titanium tubing, custom S-bend rear triangle, double-butted oval chainstays. Built for a lifetime of comfort + compliance. Because yeah… Titanium is FOREVER! 😍

We did an 🇺🇸 All-American build 🇺🇸
Red AXS: Wireless, 2x setup for ALL the range!� SL70 Ergo Cockpit: Handlebar, stem and seatpost. � Sparrow gravel wheels laced to hubs. � Terra Speed 45s for gravel crushing. �Bonus wheelset w/ Continental GP5000 S TR 32s for road duty.
Finished with bottom bracket, headset, seatpost collar, and their bling kit. Lastly, titanium bottle cages tie it all together.

We’ve got a stack of builds to share… I just need to catch up on posting 😅

And yes, even with the Spring rush: tune-ups still turned around in ONE WEEK! 🤯

❄️ Fatbike season is HERE! ☃️

We’re kicking things off with a winter-ready build that floats, rips, and turns heads. Starting with a Salsa Beargrease frameset, this fatbike tips the scales at just 23 lbs! 🤯 Proof that winter bikes don’t have to be tanks.

It rolls on ultralight Light Bicycle carbon rims laced with white Berd Spokes (fresh snow vibes ❄️) to silver Industry Nine Hydra fatbike hubs.

Shifting is handled by SRAM MTB Eagle AXS for crisp, wireless performance all winter long, while SRAM Level Ultimate 4-piston brakes in silver deliver confident stopping power. 🛑

A Wren Components carbon cockpit keeps things lighter and warmer than alloy in cold temps and Wolf Tooth Components purple accents tie perfectly into the frame’s black-to-silver fade.

Custom 3M vinyl decals by our guy James at The Sticker Spot seal the deal.
