Upper nisqually sportsmans club is in need of sporting clays help. Every odd numbered month. 3rd Saturday of the month we set targets and fill machines. 4th Saturday of the month we have our registered shoot. 4-6 hours each day. Upper Nisqually Sportsman Club shooters! Our annual Lynch Creek 200 bird shoot is returning bigger and better than ever!! Join us Saturday May 28th for a great day shooting 200 birds. We will shoot 100 birds in the morning and 100 birds in the afternoon. We will provide a delicious lunch for a small donation during the intermission while we change the course. Cost for the full day including lunch will be $105 for adult registered, $85 for hunter class, $55 for under 18. If you only want to shoot in the AM we can make exceptions. No option for PM only. Come join us for a great day!

UNSC shooters, we are looking forward to our January shoot under new management. We will do our best to set fun targets and run a streamless event. We will likely have no warm up due to lack of help but I will do my best to bring back warm up soon. On the bright side we WILL have lunch so bring your appetite and cash for a donation.

This Saturday November 27th will be the annual Thanksgiving 200.
If you plan to join us please visit www.scorechaser.com and register for the event.

Unfortunately we will not be doing our amazing turkey meal this year or any other food serving so please plan accordingly.

Shotgun start will be at 10am.
You will complete the first 100 targets and then have a break while the volunteers are re-setting the course.
Once course re-set is complete we will send you back out for the second 100 targets.

Please remember that this is a 200 target event, not 2x100 target events. Your final score will be out of 200.

$100.00 entry fee per shooter.

$7.00 gets you a 5-stand practice round of 25 targets.

While you are there on Saturday, be sure to find Mike Roberts and give him a warm welcome as the new Sporting Clays Event Chair.

Also, please give a HUGE thank you to our volunteer staff that make each and every Sporting Clays event at UNSC possible. They are a great group of people and we can't thank them enough, it is not an easy job to do what they do. Chris, Mike, Cal, Bryce, Mike, Norm, Sam and Skip.

Per a request from fellow shooters on our March 27th at UNSC. Station 1 Squad 1 is designated for those who must wear facemasks for health reasons.

If you are pre-registering on Scorechaser and wish to shoot with Squad #1 on Station #1 please put that in the notes section under amenities and we will squad you with the group. If we exceed the number of people requesting this squad we will set you up with another station with others who must wear masks.

Any issue you had with scorechaser wasn’t a scorechaser issue....it was my issue figuring out how to use the squadding feature, haven’t used it before.

Should all be resolved now!!!!

Thank you to everyone who attended our event today.

Thank you to all the workers who make this event possible. It can not be done without you.

Since this is the first time I am using www.scorechaser.com I would like to ask if you could please check that your scores and classes are correct. I had a lot of folks not fill out their station totals on their scorecards and others that were miscalculated. If you would like a copy of your card I am happy to provide it, just shoot me an email or a PM. If you are self declaring to a higher class, please be sure to check that it is accurate on this specific event. I will change the scores to final mid week to give folks time to contact me with changes needed.

As always, the participants of Sporting Clays at Upper Nisqually have provided great feedback, many kudos and tons of thank you’s for holding these events. We are always looking for people that can give a few hours to help out. If you or someone you know would like to learn how “behind the scenes” works for sporting clays events, in the field or in the office please let me know. I am proud to say that we have some very well versed folks to learn from and they are always happy to share their knowledge to help grow the sport.

Again, thank you to everyone for your attendance. I know it was cold but the beautiful blue sky certainly made it worthwhile!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Please remember to wear your masks and follow the guidelines set out for registration.

Most of you know how our clubhouse is set up. In an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible we would like to request that there are only a couple folks in the clubhouse to register at a time. We are going to hope to have 3 people handling registration so it should not take any longer than normal. WE HAVE A NEW CREDIT CARD PROCESSING SYSTEM so hopefully that will be more efficient as well.

5 Stand practice will be open at 8:30am. $7.00 for a round of 25 targets.

Shotgun start at 10am. On site registration will begin at 8:00am.

NO lunch offered due to COVID-19.

I fixed my issue with scorechaser if you would like to get pre-registered, it will give us an idea of how many folks to plan for.
