Tillinghast masterpiece is built on the grounds of Fort Monmouth, opened in 1926. The course has hosted such notables as Babe Ruth, Sam Snead, US Open Champion Orville Moody, ad two-time PGA Champion Gene Sarazen, who set the course record of 65 in 1935. That same year, Byron Nelson, then the head pro of Ridgewood Country Club, won his first pro event, the New Jersey State Open, at Suneagles, then known as Monmouth County Country Club.

Open Week of Golf is officially in full swing ⛳️

The Pro Shop is open from 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, the driving range opens at 7:30 AM, and The Bunker is open Friday through Sunday 11:00 PM to 6:00PM.

We can’t wait to see everyone back out on the course! 🌞
