Today we rolled the dice to see how far in meters we’d run around the track and we made the 6 be a 1600 or a mile loop around the school. After 3 sixes were rolled we ended up with 4 miles of dice / speed day! Time to hydrate!

We had a leg burning speed day yesterday that included a 1.5 mile loop around campus followed by a ladder workout on the track, which gave us 4.2 total miles at a good pace.

Join us for some extra miles through town tomorrow and in Athens on Saturday for the 5k trail run.

We had a nice little extended cactus 🌵 run to start the week off right. Track Day tomorrow!

The time is now. If you are thinking of joining the XC team or are just looking to improve your overall health, we invite anyone to join us for our summer workouts. We meet Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings at 8:30am at the entrance to Gatewood. Workouts vary from speed to distance to full body. We are usually done in an hour. Follow the link to learn more about our XC program and events.
