The Ballester-Molina is one of the most fascinating military surplus pistols ever produced. Often mistaken for a C**t 1911, this Argentine .45 ACP handgun was actually a unique design developed as a lower-cost alternative to the licensed Sistema C**t Modelo 1927.

In today's video, we explore the history of the Ballester-Molina, its connection to World War II, British military contracts, and how it differs from a true 1911.
