After being off the CLYC calendar for the past few years, we’re bringing back the Fishing Derby — and we’re hoping to make it an annual CLYC tradition once again!

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE THE UPDATED TIMES:

⏰ 5:45–6:00 AM — Boat Check-In at the Pavilion
🎣 6:00 AM — Lines In!
🚤 6:00 AM–1:00 PM — Fishing Derby
⚖️ 1:00–2:00 PM — Official Weigh-In at the Pavilion
🔪 2:00–4:30 PM — Fish Cleaning & Fry Prep
🐟 4:30–6:00 PM — Reel & Fry Fish Fry at the Pavilion
🏆 5:30 PM — Awards & Cash Prizes at the Pavilion

💰 $100 per boat
💲 $20 Big Walleye Pot (optional)
💲 $20 Golden Sheephead Pot (optional)

🏆 CLYC WALLEYE CHAMPIONSHIP
Bring your five heaviest legal walleye to the scale. Combined weight determines our champion!

🥇 1st — 50% of Entry Fees
🥈 2nd — 30%
🥉 3rd — 20%

Plus the winners earn their place on the CLYC Lake Erie Cup!

🍺🐟 AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO FISH TO JOIN THE PARTY!

Come down to CLYC for the weigh-in, cheer on the crews, grab a drink and stick around as we turn the day’s catch into dinner.

🎣 Participating anglers eat FREE!

🍽️ Dinner will also be available to all CLYC members for a fee, while supplies last.

* There is no sign up sheet for dinners. It is first come first served, while supplies last.

📋 The UPDATED sign-up sheet is on the clubhouse board!

Get your boat and crew signed up, or just plan on coming down and joining the party.

*** You need to sign up before the derby if you are going to be participating and entry fees need to be paid prior to start of Derby. ***

Please sign up as soon as possible.
