Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of participating in the Florida State IDPA Championship by R***r for the second year in a row. It was one of the best matches I have ever had the pleasure of participated in. The experience started way before the actual match. Erica Stone ensured that all competitors were accommodated and logistically, I've never seen anything run so well. Down to the dietary restrictions of everyone and making sure that sustenance was always within walking distance. (There may have been chaos but I never saw it😂)

Kudos to Mad Genius Ryan and the entire staff team for designing the stages so well and for being such amazing and fair ROs. The stages were challenging but it really gave everyone the option to try so many different ways to complete them. If for nothing else, I will register every year just for the experience.

The match may not have ended like I wanted but it was a great training process. The pinnacle of all of this was that I won an awesome PDP-F series from Walther Arms, Inc.!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩. The PDP F-Series has been optimized for shooters with smaller hands (which I absolutely have) but it also makes an amazing compact carry firearm. Thank you Walther Arms, Inc. , Tatiana Whitlock and Gabby Franco for being an awesome sponsor to such an amazing match. There were so many other sponsors to name R***r, Hunters HD Gold, Midwest Competition Works, etc. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Finally, I have to say thanks to my super shooting mentor and "Big Sis" Lynn Keel. You've kept me motivated when I wanted to quit, refused to let me use sleep (or long drives) as an excuse, push me to continue (even when some rules send me into a tizzy) and continue to motivate me to be better. 🤗 I will forever be grateful for the day we met. You're amazeballs!!!!

Shot a kick-ass 3-Gun match earlier this month after some tough training and it was freaking awesome. And it just so happened that I WON!!!!! 1st in my division and 1st overall!! It was cold for this Florida gal but I survived it and just went into it to have fun. The win was a huge boost to my already inflated ego. 😜🤓 Can’t wait to see everyone next year at 3-Gun Fun Camp!
