I am very proud to promote Sensei Victoria Seagriff to second degree Black Belt! She has been training and teaching for over 14 years! Victoria graduated from Berkley College of Music and is also a pro drummer currently playing in and recording with multiple bands!!!

Congratulations to Waheed and Zarak who were promoted to 1st Degree Senior Black Belt! Waheed was a 3rd degree Junior Black Belt and has been training since he was 3 years old!!! He has started his first year of College at Rutgers!!! Zarak has been training since he was 9 years old and was a 3rd degree Junior Black Belt!!! He is now a Junior in Monroe HS!! We are very proud of both of you!! Your rank exam was amazing!!!

Congratulations to all the Instructors at Master Tom Bryan's Karate who were promoted on September 9, 2018! Pictured is Master Paul Dunn and Master Stephen Mora who were promoted to 7th degree Black Belt. Master Emilio Rodriguez who was promoted to 6th degree Black Belt. Master Maybelle Narciso, the first female Instructor ever promoted to a Master level in our martial arts system along with Master Joseph Abate, Master Clemente Ixcatcoy Salanic were promoted to 4th degree Black Belt. Sensei Frank LaRosa was promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt. Master Chris Brooks was also present from CMB Karate! Not pictured but promoted to 4th degree Black Belt were Master Miguel Alayan and Master Dawn Maltz! I want to thank all the Instructors!!!

Exciting news at Tom Bryan's Karate!!! Effective August 1st Sensei Joseph Abate is taking over as lead Instructor! We have a lot of new and exiting initiatives planned for all the students! Everyone will be very happy! Just one of the many new and exciting initiatives will be, beginning August 20th the new schedule will permit each and every rank to have a class every day! Our Super Summer Training Camp will be from August 27th through the 31st!

Sensei Abate started his Martial Arts journey at the age of 4 at Tom Bryan's Karate! Pictured is Sensei Abate receiving his Junior Blackbelt at the age of 10 almost 17 years ago! Sensei Abate has many years of teaching Martial Arts and is very knowledgeable! I am very proud of Sensei Abate and the great instructor and young man he has become! He currently holds the rank of 3rd degree Blackbelt and I look forward to him earning his 4th degree!
