Hi everyone. This is a post that that we never like posting. It is with great sadness and very heavy hearts that we have lost a dear and valued member of our club and community. Deb Columb passed away unexpectedly on April 10th. Deb was an avid snowmobiler and was willing to ride anywhere from Yellowstone National Park to Canada. She was a lifetime member of our club and was very active in any events we had for fundraisers. She was always helping with trail work up until she couldn’t do as much anymore, but even then, she would still show up and do little things but mostly for moral support. If anyone knew Deb, she was quiet and small in stature but she was also very feisty. She also had quick witted comments and a great sense of humor. We will definitely miss your presence Deb. Until we meet again, watch over us and make sure you’re riding along with us on the trails! 🙏🏻❤️

Hi everyone. After last nights meeting, we have agreed to stop grooming our trails and to shut them down. All the other clubs around us have made that decision as well. I know some people will say there is still plenty of snow out there to ride on and in certain areas there may be, but a lot of our trails go over landowners property, some of which include fields which are used for haying and income and food for their livestock. Out of respect for them, we would rather shut down now and not damage their properties. We will start closing gates and puting up snow fencing during this upcoming week.
With that being said, we would like to thank all of our landowners for allowing us to use and access their land to help us connect our trails to other towns and be able to enjoy our winter sport. We know without your generosity, we wouldn’t have many, if any, places to ride. We thank you again.
Next, we would like to thank all the businesses in town that sponsor and support us in so many different ways. Again, without your support, we wouldn’t have some of the funds to get us through the expenses of grooming and maintaining equipment.
Last but not least, I personally want to thank every member of our club. You endure the countless hours of getting and keeping our trails brushed back and made safe in pre season for everyone to enjoy when we finally get snow and then go out and try to groom and keep them smooth for everyone. You volunteer your time and expect nothing for it.
We have finally had a decent year for riding this season but unfortunately it started late and is quickly coming to an end. Thank you to all that have ridden our trails and have complimented us on their conditions. We can always use more help and more members to make some of this easier. It’s never too late to join our club. I know you would enjoy the comradery and the fun.

Just a reminder to all our members that we have a meeting this Saturday March 7th. Board members meet at 5:30, followed with a pot luck dinner at 6. Regular meeting starts at 7. This meeting will include the nomination of officers for next season. There are several positions open and if you feel like you would like to run for one of our already filled positions, please feel free to put your name in. As always, anyone who is not a club member that is reading this, we are always looking for and welcome new members. Come check us out and see what we’re all about. We are a friendly group and I’m sure you would have fun. Hope to see you all there.

So this is how our season has been going all year. Needless to say, we’ve been doing more repairs than grooming. We’ve been doing the best we can. Unfortunately, this truck is done for the rest of the season. We will try and continue grooming with the rest of our equipment but it is starting to get sparse so if you’re on the trails, take it easy and don’t rip them up cause at some point there won’t be anything we can do to smooth them out. One other note, if you are riding towards the Nature Conservancy, stop going around the culvert. The ice is getting soft and that hole is a minimum 6ft deep. Also, the landowner where all the posted signs on the one side doesn’t want anyone on his property even though only the width of a sled is going on it to get around the culvert. He has contacted the Warden service and said he will press charges. You should be able to get through that small bit of water. Anyway, be safe and enjoy it while it lasts. Hi everyone. I wanted to send out a heads up to anyone riding snowmobiles over in the Lake Arrowhead area. Last night we had a groomer break down just after the small bridge while heading towards the bridge on the main road by the dam. We had to leave it overnight last night. We went back first thing this morning and got it off the trail and out to the main road. We crossed the bridge and made a turn around by the boat launch ramp by the dam and were planning on getting it back to where we keep it on Lords Road. Unfortunately, another track decided to come apart. Right now, the truck is sitting close to the road pretty much in the trail. There is plenty of room to go around it and it is visible with cones around it. Hopefully we can get the track fixed and get it moved probably late tomorrow. Just wanted to make everyone aware. Thank you for your patience. Right now we are down one groomer until we get parts to repair the first track that broke.

Hi everyone. Just sending out a trail update. We spent this past Sunday and yesterday(Monday) grooming all of our trails in both directions from the clubhouse. Amazingly with what snow we have, the trails are in pretty good shape. That being said, there are rocks and possibly some stumps still exposed so please take it easy so you don’t end up wrecking yourself or your equipment. We are hoping we get the snow they say is coming tonight. Every little bit helps at this point. I would like to ask if you are out riding after this storm before we get out there with equipment again, if you could stay to the right side of the trails to help keep the snow in the middle of the trails so we have something to work with. We don’t have the ability to pull snow off the side of the trails to fill them in. Anyway, enjoy it while we have it and ride safe and ride right.
