People often ask me, "Why did you become a yoga teacher?" It is teaching classes like this that remind me of the purpose behind my training on the mat. I had the privilege to guide a wonderful group of women that have been lifelong friends through a flow class over the weekend. At the end of class emotions were flowing for many reasons I'm sure, but most importantly feelings of gratitude they all had for each other, for the space, for the love, and most importantly, for the understanding we all shared in that room. That each and everyone of us is on our own journey, and we carry scars and burdens that we don't always share. I was filled with so much gratitude and humbled by the experience.🤍. This is why I teach.
