For coach Melissa’s birthday, the upper levels gave their best coach Melissa impression!
Melissa, one of the coolest things to watch over the years has been the time you’ve invested in our upper-level athletes. You never settle for “good enough”—you push them to be stronger, cleaner, and more confident every single day. Whether it’s chasing a new skill, perfecting routines, or overcoming mental blocks, you’ve always believed in them long before they believed in themselves. Because of your dedication, they’ve learned that success comes from consistency, hard work, and never giving up.
Of course, spending that much time together has had one hilarious side effect... the upper levels have your mannerisms down perfectly. From your famous corrections, to your hysterical comparisons, to the way you’re so locked in that you forget other things, like coffee, they’ve mastered their impressions of you almost as well as they’ve mastered their skills. Honestly, if someone closed their eyes during practice, they might not know who was talking!
Have a great birthday!

Happy Birthday coach Melissa! 🎉
Your 1-6 level athletes had some birthday messages for you! (stay tuned for a special surprise from the upper levels🫣)
We all at Revolution appreciate you! Your dedication, passion, and heart never go unnoticed. No matter what, you always put your athletes first and work tirelessly to help each one become the best version of themselves—not only as athletes, but as people. Your leadership, encouragement, and belief in every child inspire so many every single day.
Thank you for everything you do and for the positive impact you make on this program and everyone in it. We are so lucky to have a coach who leads with such care, commitment, and heart.
Wishing you a birthday as incredible as you are. We hope this year brings you all the happiness you deserve. Happy Birthday! 💙🎂

Our final selection announcement! 🇺🇸❤️

We’re incredibly proud to announce that these two (InstagramlessEmma and Brooklyn ) will be returning to camp this year as members of Team USA’s Elite Developmental Team!

They were the very first athletes in our program to test for JumpStart—the “guinea pigs” who helped us build what this program has become. They both earned their spots at camp in their second year testing, and now they’ll be returning together for another incredible experience.

Their dedication, resilience, and willingness to embrace the unknown paved the way for so many athletes coming up behind them. They proved that hard things are possible, and because of them, countless younger athletes now believe they can achieve these same goals.

Watching them return to camp together is incredibly special, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what they’ll accomplish next.

Congratulations—we’re so proud of you both! ❤️🇺🇸

Athlete Spotlight: Gabby

This season was filled with adversity for Gabby. For much of the year, she battled a fear of flipping backwards. A fall at States—one that was both unexpected and heartbreaking—added even more pressure heading into Regionals. After our gym move, she took a little time away from the sport, and sometimes that’s exactly what an athlete needs. Sometimes it makes them realize just how much the “hard” is worth it for the love of it.

When she came back, she returned with a renewed passion and determination.

At Regionals, she absolutely knocked it out of the park. The first 2 videos are from her qualifying at regionals. Gabby isn’t typically able to travel to many of the “big” meets, so when she signed up for Nationals, we were beyond excited for her to have that opportunity.

This season, she continuously chose courage over comfort. She signed up for JumpStart testing. She competed at Nationals—the highest-level competition she’s ever attended. And little by little, she’s beginning to see in herself what we’ve known all along:

She. Is. Incredible.

While her second pass at Nationals didn’t go quite the way she had hoped, her first pass had all of us in tears. The personal growth of this young lady is something no fall on a second pass can ever diminish. One of my favorite moments of the entire season was watching her earn her qualifying score. The pure, raw emotion on her face said everything. That moment—the realization that she had achieved something she had worked so hard for—was the true reward of her season. Not all athletes wear their emotions on their sleeve like she does, it’s something I’ve always admired about her. In this moment, I saw the little girl who started in my tot class because she just loved the sport. A joy that honestly I think is unmatched. She LOVES what she does, and is proud when she achieves something she’s worked so hard for.

We’re so proud of you, Gabby. Your perseverance, resilience, and willingness to keep showing up are what make you so special. This is only the beginning.

Athlete Spotlight: Bella & Riley 💙

The dream duo.

Bella and Riley are two athletes in our program who often fly under the radar—but never for the wrong reasons. They’re the definition of steady. They’re the calm in the chaos and the athletes their teammates naturally turn to when they need encouragement.
They lead by example without ever needing to be the loudest voices in the room.
As a coach, I’ve often worried that athletes like Bella and Riley don’t always receive the recognition they deserve. They’re not the athletes I constantly have to redirect in practice. More often than not, they listen to the corrections I’m giving someone else and immediately apply them to their own gymnastics. They show up, they work, they learn, and they improve.

They’re low-maintenance athletes—not too high-strung, not too carefree. They simply love the sport. They’re confident enough to stay in their own lane, unconcerned with who learns the next skill first or who moves up the fastest. Their focus has always been on becoming a little better than they were yesterday.

Bella and Riley are a dream synchro pair. Throughout the season, I intentionally split them up so each could serve as a leader for different teammates. They embraced those roles with humility and maturity, each making those around them better.
When Nationals arrived, they reunited as a synchro pair, bringing together everything they’d learned while leading others all season. It was fitting that every one of their teammates was just as excited to watch them compete as they were to compete themselves.
They delivered the routine of a lifetime and earned a National Silver Medal in an incredibly talented field.
In true Bella and Riley fashion, they stepped onto the podium with the same humility, grace, and sportsmanship they’ve shown every day in the gym. The moment captured above says everything about who they are.
Bella and Riley earned this moment because of who they are.

Athlete Spotlight: Emma Dobrinski

Last year in Providence, Emma had the most disappointing meet of her life.

She had a fall on both trampoline and double mini. Later, she found out she had missed JumpStart Camp by just 10 points on her physical abilities test. It was especially heartbreaking because the season before, she had qualified for JumpStart Camp and was crowned National Champion.

It was hard.

As a coach, it’s never easy watching an athlete experience a season filled with disappointment. But sometimes those moments become the greatest opportunity for growth. Sometimes the greatest gift an athlete can receive is falling short of their goals—because it teaches them what success alone never could.

This year, Emma made sure she would never come up short because of something she could control.

When I say this kid DESTROYED physical abilities testing, I mean she left no rep undone. Every leg lift. Every standing tuck. Every jump rope. Every box jump. She attacked every single station with purpose and determination. She posted a personal best by an astronomical amount—a score that, if I’m being honest, I didn’t even think was attainable.

A few weeks before leaving for USA Gym Champs, stress and self-doubt crept in. Skills that had been automatic suddenly felt uncertain. There were moments where she questioned herself in ways that were completely uncharacteristic.

But champions don’t avoid adversity—they work through it.

Little by little, Emma rebuilt her confidence. She trusted the process, trusted her training, and when it mattered most, the ruthless competitor inside her showed up.

She stepped onto the competition floor and delivered the routine of her life.

Watching Emma this season has been a reminder that setbacks don’t define an athlete—how they respond to them does.

I’m so proud of the resilience, grit, and determination she’s shown over the last year. Last year’s disappointment became this year’s motivation, and she proved that sometimes the biggest comeback begins with the hardest setback.

Congratulations, Emma. You earned every bit of this moment.

Some moments deserve their own post ❤️

I’ve had Ava as an athlete her entire career — from her very first tot class all the way to Elite. Watching her grow over the years has been something really special. She is easily one of the most naturally talented and athletic athletes I’ve ever had the privilege of coaching, but she also LOVES this sport.

This moment? It’s been a long time coming. This moment was EARNED.

Last year, she tested Elite and fell short. This year, she came back, tested again, and passed. The night before Winter Classic, she officially made the move to Elite — and then went out and made finals with less than 24 hours notice that she was moving up levels.

Today, she made finals again….except this time, she didn’t just make finals — she stood on the podium. ❤️

I truly believe this is only the beginning for her. The confidence, maturity, determination, and talent are all there. I’m proud of BOTH of us on the growth we’ve made on communicating as a coach/athlete duo. The growth she’s made in just the last year alone is incredible.

Keep your eyes on this girl… she’s just getting started. Don’t sleep on our little program. These girls are gonna be the next generation in this sport. 💖
