If you’re looking for more,
don't worry—there are still plenty of opportunities to head outdoors and explore our parks.

Friday Sept 25th:
10am: Nature Explorers
ForEvergreen Nature Preserve
*there’s a few spots left-registration required $5 per child
4pm-6pm: Comics in the Park
Dansbury Park, at the picnic tables behind the Day street Community Center
*this is a free, drop in program-no registration needed

Saturday Sept 26th
9am: Guided Nature Walk
Pinebrook North - meet at the lot to the right of the north entrance
*this is a free, drop in event

It’s a beautiful day to play outside! Meet us at the Jay Albertson Park from 4-6 for a Park Play Date!

We’ll bring along the kickball too, since there’s a nice open space to play, as we had so much fun yesterday.

Art in the Park starts at 6pm, bring $5 along if you’d like to stay and get creative 🎨

* When: Friday, September 25, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Drop-in volunteers welcome)

* Where: Day Street Community Center, 15 Day St, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301

* What to Bring/Wear: Tools and supplies will be provided on-site. Volunteers are encouraged to wear clothes they don't mind getting paint on.

Big things are happening at 15 Day Street! 🛠️

We’ve raised $96,000 of our $110,000 goal to renovate the community center, and this Friday, September 25th, we’re putting those funds into action!

Lowe's Home Improvement Red Vest volunteers from across the region are joining forces with our local community for a massive volunteer workday. We’ll be painting, prepping walls, and refreshing the interior from top to bottom!

Stroud Recreation will be at the Stroudsburg Borough Park today, Tuesday September 22nd at 1pm-2pm and 5pm-6pm for falls crafts to welcome the Fall Equinox!

This free community event is open for all ages to attend. No registration is required.
