We are a private member owned Yacht Club situated on beautiful Hewlett Harbor in East Rockaway New York. Our deep water marina can handle yachts of all sizes, including sail and power. Our newly renovated club house provides high end amenities and wheel chair accessibility. Our heated outdoor pool is open 7 days a week between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Our social calendar runs year round providi

ng 12 full months of activities. We are family oriented and offer Junior Memberships and help our younger members learn the joys of boating.

Microtunneling and sliplining are complete but work continues at many of our construction sites along the Project corridor. Along Sunrise Highway, crews will work during the day from approx. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pits A and D in Rockville Centre, Pit M in Freeport, Pits Q and S in Merrick and Pit W in Wantagh. In addition, next week crews will work during the day from approx. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pit B in Rockville Centre. During these work hours, a partial sidewalk closure will be in effect to secure the work area along Sunrise Highway between North Village Avenue and North Park Avenue. Flaggers will direct pedestrians to enter on North Village Avenue or North Park Avenue to navigate the detour. Additional shoulder/parking closures will be in effect in front of the work zone. Temporary lane closures on Sunrise Highway may occur for short periods of time to support construction activities and ensure the safety of the traveling public.

Microtunneling and sliplining are complete but work continues at many of our construction sites along the Project corridor. Next week, WBC will continue making progress along Sunrise Highway. Crews will work during the day from approx. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pit A and Pit D in Rockville Centre, and Pit O in Freeport. This may result in east and westbound single lane closures. Additional temporary lane closures on Sunrise Highway may occur for short periods of time to support construction activities and ensure the safety of the traveling public.
