🏀 Youth Basketball is Back! 🏀

Registration is now open for Youth Basketball for ages 6-12!
Choose between Monday or Wednesday sessions as participants learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense in a fun, supportive environment. Players of all skill levels are welcome!

Youth Basketball will be held at Waddington Elementary School. If school is canceled or closed, Youth Basketball will also be canceled.

Registration fee is $40 per child. Registration is available online at eastprovidence.recdesk.com. For more information, please call the Recreation Center at 401-433-6360.

Looking for a workout where you set the pace? Join LaBlast! Inspired by the dances featured on Dancing with the Stars; all fitness and experience levels welcome - no partner or dance experience required!

As part of our summer wrap up, a huge thank you to the Partnership to Reduce Cancer in Rhode Island for the opportunity to win Sunscreen Treasure Chests through their raffle! We were so excited to be one of the lucky camps selected to share these fun sun-safety goodies with our campers.

A special thank you to Megan for helping make this opportunity possible for our campers! We loved making sun safety fun for our campers, and the bucket hats were definitely a BIG hit! 😎🔆

While we may not have captured every moment on camera, we couldn’t let the summer end without saying "thank you" to the organizations and community partners who helped make our Recreation programs so special.☀️

A heartfelt thank you to Carl from Hope & Faith for being part of the Recreation family and so graciously giving back to our community; Tracy and the Crescent Park Carousel team; EBCAP's Foster Grandparents; Kona Ice; PODS Swim; our amazing performers; Girl Scouts of East Providence; Maggie Holmes; Jules Hope Chest; East Providence Public Library; East Providence DPW; and so many more all-stars who helped make this summer one to remember!

Classes run on Tuesdays beginning September 8 through October 20 at the Recreation Center, 610 Waterman Ave., East Providence. Tuition is $98 for the 7-week session.

🏒 Youth ages 5-12 are invited to join us at Pierce Field on Saturday, August 22nd, from 11 AM–1 PM for an intro to the sport of ball hockey!

Participants will rotate through four interactive stations featuring a variety of skills and drills. No prior hockey experience is required!
