So since it's Thanksgiving and we got an invite to NYC for our champions tour it's probably safe to say the racing season is over so time for a season recap. This season was definitely one to remember, a number of lows but oh so many highs. First I have to thank my other half Shelby Lynn , she was there through all the struggles no matter what! I also need to thank my grandparents ( Linda Shamrock ) for always being in the pits and supporting me week in and week out. I also need to thank Greg from EVL Auto Care, who let me use his shop, helped build the new cage,and helped with the setup. Whatever he could help with he did. Now onto the season, the start of the season went our way! Thankfully for a rainout to start, it gave us a little more time to catch up even though we didn't get the car done till 2 am due to having to swap out a leaking fuel tank. After that we were off to the races winning the first 4 four cylinder events, 3 small track 1 big track. Through the middle of the season we started to do some traveling visiting 6 tracks this year and running consistently in the top 5 and working our way up the points standings. The end of the year was a little more rough than the beginning, we were running consistently good everywhere we went, we seemed to be behind the 8 ball whether it was tracks or other drivers. Nonetheless we came out on Top! Winning both the 4 Cylinder Stock class and the 4 Cylinder Pro class at Lancaster Motorplex. We also had a runner up finish in Race of Champions points to Trisha Connolly. So let's see... 3 sets of points, 2 Championships and a 2nd overall, not bad. It’s time to kick off the 37th U.S. Open Weekend! Tonight will feature open practice for all divisions from 6-9pm, followed by the after party in the grandstand concourse with Flipside!

Pit gates open at 3:30pm, along with tech inspection. All cars must go through tech before going on the track!
Grandstands will open at 6pm with free admission

We went out to Lancaster Motorplex for championship night leading 2 divisions and brought home 2 championships!! 🏆

Small track:

Started heat 2 on the outside pole and was able to take off and claim the win! Went back out for the feature starting 2nd again and had a nice battle with the 4 car and kept our 2nd place finish

Big track:

Started 7th in the heat and made our way to 3rd getting us into the redraw. Started on the pole for the feature and not even the first lap in got spun by another driver. Went to the back of the pack and was able to drive through finishing 4th overall.

This night wouldn't have been possible without some amazing friends stepping us to help crew for the car and supporting us all night.
