A lovely fall day! All the kids were so very good today!! Jezebel and I found our right lead canter, timeless Tank cruised effortlessly, and Big E ran through Third Level Test 1!!!❤️❤️. So proud of them all! I am a lucky girl!

Once again I am here with the ultimate brag!! ALL of my ladies yesterday accomplished so much in their lessons!!! Goals that have been long worked for, finally happening!! Whether it was consistency in the contact in BOTH directions, consistency in the rhythm and contact in BOTH directions, facing the indoor where your horse can be a bit extra, or finding your outside leg, I had the BEST day watching you all achieve these accomplishments and SMILE :-)!!! So so proud of all of you!

Sometimes it isn't your own accomplishments that make you proud, but those of others. Today my student Holly Gibbs rode her own Fabiella aka Big E (lol) in a clinic with Ben Franklin!!! I was overwhelmed with emotion watching her ride her horse so wonderfully in a new environment with a new instructor!!! Holly, you have worked so hard for this and overcome SO much, as has Ella. Proud doesn't really cover it, but it will have to do!

It's been a while, but we have been working hard at In Step Farm! Beautiful weather this weekend and everyone rose to the occasion!! Lori Hibbard, Holly Gibbs and Heidi Chen all had great rides on their trusty steeds!! So fun how everyone is making such great progress!!

Yesterday I had the most magical riding day in a very long time!! The kids were all SOOOO good! I am grateful to have G back doing her thing after a lot of time rehabbing various stuff. I will cherish every day forward. She is my ‘favorite pair of sweatpants’ in horse form, comfortable and makes me all warm and fuzzy.😍. Jezebel and Tank also put their best hooves out and Big E amazed with her nonchalance in attempting to tackle some half passes.🤩. I can’t remember the last time I just truly ENJOYED all of my rides. Dressage is hard. It was a welcome reward! Thank you to all of their owners for allowing me the opportunity for magical days like this!😘😘❤️❤️💙🖤💙🖤

Well, well, well. Seems we have a show horse on our hands!! Fabiella owned by Holly Gibbs had her first trip to Saugerties and acted like she had been there just last week!! I am overwhelmed at the progress this girl has made and how she seems to love her new job!!! First Level Test 2 6th place with a 65%, First Level Test 1 4th place with a 66% and, drum roll please, First Level Test 3 Q 5th place with a whopping 71.8% in front of Axel Steiner!!! My personal best in front of him, Big E I am grateful!!! The winner of that class got an 85!!!😳😳. Thank you Holly for allowing me to enjoy your horse at the shows. Unfortunately we had to bug out early because of Impending Doom🤬. Be safe everyone! Was great catching up with ma peeps!!❤️❤️PC The Fabulous Heidi Chen❤️❤️
