Toledo Bend was a blast and an awesome experience…I took my local knowledge there and I also learned a lot about how to approach new bodies of water. My biggest takeaway is that you have to adapt on the fly and keep up with modern technology to compete against these guys!
I scratched up 18+ on day one and was in contention despite dumping a couple of good fish . Day 2 was a bit more of a challenge and also had the chance to come out with a better bag, but that’s where fishing clean and capitalizing on your opportunities makes it or breaks it…knowing that I was on the right fish and right places, keeps me pushing forward! As always…I’m truly blessed by having a wonderful support system, especially my family and friends! Ended up in 42nd of 170+ anglers…

We had a fun day on Apache last week with Hank, Sham, and Marty. Caught plenty of fish on a 1/2 day trip…drop shot and single tailed grubs on 1/4oz ball head jigs were the ticket to a consistent bite all afternoon. Hit me up if you’d like to get out on the water…I have a few dates open in April and May.

I finally found a few decent ones on Lake Havasu fishing the TBF AZ… it wasn’t enough to cash, but a blast of a day finessing these beauties into the boat! Congrats to the guys that caught ‘em for 2 days!
Always thankful for the opportunity and obviously those that make it all possible!
