⭐️Behind the Scenes at East Lynne Rodeo Committee⭐️

In light of recent conversations and questions regarding the integrity of the East Lynne Rodeo Committee, we feel it is important to share a little of what happens behind the scenes and what this committee has worked to accomplish over the past year.

From the beginning, the East Lynne Rodeo Committee’s commitment to our community has been simple: to give back, support those around us, and provide a high-quality annual rodeo with the possibility of bringing additional events to our community in the future.

When you purchased a rodeo ticket, provided a sponsorship, or attended our Gala, or supported us in any way, you were not simply supporting our rodeo. You helped give back to the community we call home.

Here are just a few of the things your support has helped make possible over the past year:

• Provided holiday snack bags to East Lynne Elementary students and teachers

• Provided a holiday meal to a local family in need

• Donated $1,000 to a local FFA chapter

• Donated funds to Pleasant Hill Parks & Recreation for the use of bleachers

• Donated a silent auction item to support a local family whose mother was tragically killed

• Updated 10 arena panels and painted the City of East Lynne arena, with assistance from local FFA students

These are just a few examples of the work that takes place beyond the arena and beyond rodeo weekend.

We are proud of the work our committee has done and will continue to do for our community. Our goal has never been simply to put on a rodeo. It has always been to build something our community can be proud of, support local organizations and families, provide opportunities for our youth, and give back whenever we are able.

We could not do any of this without the support of our community, our sponsors, our contestants, our volunteers, and everyone who purchases a ticket or attends our events.

So when you support the East Lynne Rodeo, know that your support reaches far beyond the arena. You are helping us give back.

For that, the East Lynne Rodeo Committee sincerely thanks you.

The East Lynne Rodeo Committee was privileged to receive assistance from the Harrisonville FFA this morning. These hardworking students helped us paint the arena panels in preparation for the upcoming East Lynne Rodeo on September 11th & 12th!

We are incredibly grateful for their time, hard work, and willingness to lend a hand. It’s young people like these who remind us that the future of agriculture is in good hands.

We are proud to support and encourage the next generation of agricultural leaders!
