OVRC's first High School League of the season begins in November. It will be a singles league. We can work around schedules a bit. Matches will be set up for.you to play. We have times available on Mondays 3 to 6, Thursdays 3-6 and Saturdays 9 to 12. Each match will be scheduled for a 1 hour time slot. You can use the entire hour even if you finish early. If you know a date, day or time you can not play, just text me that information and we can work around it. DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS SEPT. 30. The cost is $70. Membership is required. OVRC MEMBERS..... Our first adult league begins Sunday, Oct. 25 and runs 6 to 8 weeks depending on the amount of players signed up. DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS SEPT. 30. The League Fee is $80.

OVRC is always looking for new Club and League sponsors. If your business is interested in sponsoring, please reach out to us. A sponsorship for a year is $200. We hang a banner inside our facility. We use business names for our Leagues and post scores weekly on Facebook during the fall and winter.
We are so grateful for the sponsors who continue to support us each year. We appreciate you all so much!

A special thank you to all who donated to the memorial bench at Chester City Park for my father, Tom Keller. His passion for the sport and his love of spreading the joy of tennis to the entire community was so important to him. Tennis was more than a sport to him. It was a community of people of which he loved to be a part. Thank you to all who who have been an impact in our lives.

Dear Members,

I hope everyone is having a great summer. Ohio Valley Racquet Club is getting ready for the new 2026-2027 season.

Last year was a tough year in many ways, and we are hoping to have a great season this year. Due to the current economy and the increase in our rent and utilities, last year was the first year we did not at least break even financially. We are still doing everything we can to stay community-minded and keep things as affordable as possible.

That being said, we have a couple of changes this season:

- Membership Fees: We will not be increasing membership fees. They will remain the same.
- Hourly Rates: The prime time hourly rate will increase to $28/hr. This will not affect the $16 rate for the off-hours time period.
- League Fees: Adult Leagues will be $80 and High School Leagues will be $70.

Leagues are scheduled to begin in either late October or early November. More information will be sent out next month.

Additionally, if there is any member wanting to use the club to give lessons, please contact Tammi at 304-224-8298 for information on a discounted rate.

Thank you for all the prayers, thoughtful posts, flowers, cards and food that people provided. My dad never met a stranger, and I am glad to see that people had so many fond memories.
