TrailEagle Co. will be winding down operations at the end of this year.
This decision comes after a period of reflection and transition, and marks the closing of a chapter that has meant a great deal to all of us involved.
What began as a simple idea, rethinking how backpacks could serve hikers, adventurers, and everyday explorers, grew into a real product, a real community, and a real journey.
Turning that early concept into something people could use, test, and enjoy has been an unforgettable experience.
Over the past few years, TrailEagle Co. has had the privilege of working alongside an extraordinary network within the Michigan entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Support came from the MSU Burgess Institute, our Kickstarter backers, Lansing SmartZone, Innovate Marquette, Scouting America, Startup Grind Lansing, and many others who supported the mission and opened doors along the way.
We’ve also been fortunate to receive insight and guidance from advisors, mentors, and fellow founders who believed in the vision early on.
Their contributions helped shape this idea into something tangible and meaningful.
Throughout this chapter, we had the chance to showcase our work across the state, the country, and even internationally.
From pitch competitions and community events to a keynote in front of more than 300 members of the Scouting community, each moment reflected the collective energy behind this project.
As we wrap up operations, we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us.
The customers who believed in the mission.
The partners who opened doors.
The communities that welcomed the work.
The ecosystem that encouraged the pursuit.
This is the end of one chapter, and the beginning of another.
