The Grand Ledge Wrestling Club is seeking nominations for board members for the upcoming year.

We are looking for representation from all levels, K through 12. To be eligible, you must have a current wrestler in the Grand Ledge program.

Open positions include:
• President
• Treasurer
• Up to 9 one-year Board of Director positions

Good luck to all of our State Qualifiers as they head into the MyWay State Championship this weekend!

We’re excited to see you all out there representing our program and community on the state stage. It’s a big weekend and we’re cheering you on every step of the way.

The girls and high school divisions kick things off as we start an exciting four days of wrestling. Go out there, compete hard, and enjoy every moment. You’ve already made us proud.

Families, we need your help. Our Middle School and MyWay Tournaments are our only fundraisers of the season and are how we support our wrestlers, coaches, equipment, and program from youth through high school.

Every family is expected to sign up to help at at least one tournament. These are all hands on deck events. Without volunteers, we cannot run these tournaments or fund our season.

Sunday, our youth wrestlers competed at the Central Region MyWay Trilogy Tournament in Charlotte. This was our largest GL showing in several years, with 22 wrestlers participating across the AM and PM sessions. For 9 of those athletes, it was their very first tournament experience.

GL showed up in a big way and brought home plenty of hardware. While winning is never the main focus at this age, learning, developing skills, building confidence, and falling in love with the sport truly matter most. That said, it was still exciting to see the results of all the hard work put in by our wrestlers.

As a team, GL placed in the top 7 overall, which is something to be incredibly proud of. We couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of our youth wrestlers and the effort they showed on and off the mat. 💙🤍
