Victory Mixed Martial Arts Of East Islip takes the constantly evolving principals of both modern kempo and brazilian jiu jitsu, and combines them into one system of devastating striking and grappling. Using Modern Kempo, we have the most effective striking techniques of Muay Thai kickboxing and western boxing at our disposal – along with the street-effective strikes of traditional Kempo. These pri

ncipals are used to end the fight quickly by striking the most vital areas of the body in rapid succession. A high percentage of fights are taken to the ground—and so VMA students must be proficient in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well, which focuses on ending a fight with submission or striking from a dominant position. These techniques can also help a fighter from being taken down in the first place. The popularity and mainstream of Mixed Martial Arts is making people today more knowledgeable than ever before. Because of this, VMA instructors are constantly immersing themselves in the newest innovations of the martial arts. This ensures that our students are receiving the best instruction at all times.
