we started off the day 7th fastest in practice which was good ran some of my fastest laps yet at the bowl, started P.6 in the heat race was trying to pass for 3rd on lap 2 and my water pump belt broke causing us to have to pull in. (Special thanks to Johnny Robbins for running to the parts store to try to find one and Marc Shafer for having a spare in his trailer that thankfully worked for us) Feature time started P.17 worked our way around some guys ended up P.11 just boxed in no where to go and not worth it to get a little rough when it’s the first race of the season when there’s plenty of more weeks left.
