or 30 years, but our name has recently changed, as we merge with AirLine Cycles in East Hampton in late 2020. The name is new, but the great service remains the same!

So I have been informed by my staff that we will in fact be offering 20% off all in stock accessories, 10% off all 2023 gift cards, and at least 10% off all bikes... and buy a bike, get a free helmet to boot! ($55 helmet for sub-$1000 bikes, $100 helmet credit for $1000+ bikes.) Apparently not everyone is as excited about the big moving party as I am. Small Business Saturday 10AM to 4PM!!

Happy Thanksgiving! On behalf of the entire AirLine Cycles family, we wish you a happy, healthy, wonderful Thanksgiving. We are closed Friday, and encourage you to skip the mall, and instead get out for a bike ride or a hike or a nice walk with family or friends.

Saturday is Small Business Saturday, and we'll be at the shop from 10 till 5 serving up some smoking hot deals, including 10% off on EVERYTHING in stock. This is a one day deal, with special kickbacks from our vendors, so these deals are for Saturday only!

Saturday will also be our last day in the Colchester location; with our lease expiring, and the new Colchester area location still months from completion, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily consolidate the shop into the brand new larger location at 55 Main Street in East Hampton, right next to the Post Office, just up the hill from the soon to be former EH Old Bank location. Chris and Patrick will be joining the EH crew, and we are psyched to have Chris's expertise under the same roof as the rest of the AirLine crew! Please come support us in the new location, and stay tuned for special grand opening announcement!

(We know this will be a longer drive for some of our clients, but between the current financial climate, the end of our lease, and rapidly changing bicycle industry, this is the best decision for now. We will make it worth the extra travel time, we promise!)

This weekend is the triumphant return of the Belltown CX cyclocross race! On Saturday, we are having two "intro to cyclocross" clinics, and on Sunday we race! So I haven't been posting a lot of race results on the AirLine page, as most folks who want to follow the team do so at the Stage 1 Cycling Team page... but sometimes there's great news worth sharing.

WOW! 😳 Alex Miller-Davey took the EWS80 Women's 13-16 win today up at Burke Mountain, and Noah Shreadz took 2nd in the EWS80 Men's 13-16 division. What an epic day for these two Juniors!

For those that are not familiar with the EWS Series, this is a highly contested, World Class event. These two podium appearances are HUGE!! 💙💚

Reminder, this coming Saturday at the East Hampton store, not only is is a Village Stroll with special events at all the shops, but the shop is hosting our HUGE USED BIKE SALE! Some will be free, some will be $4000, but most will be $100-$400... kids bikes, adult bikes, teen bikes, recumbent bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes! We are busting at the seams and would like to sell every bike, so bikes are priced to move!

Thank you for 6 wonderful years worth of AirLine Cycles!

I started in a basement as a one man operation (with lots of free labor from my Alpha-Lo brethren George and Rob), soon brought in my right hand man Jarrett DeBowsky, and here we are six years later with two locations, a pile of the best employees I could hope for, the biggest team in the state (maybe the northeast), a thriving junior program, expansion plans, and so much more...

The best part: so few customers, yet so many friends! Your friendly faces walking through the door each day make these long days worthwhile.

Special thanks to our new friends in Colchester; we are proud to continue the fine tradition that Sunshine Cycles built over 30+ years, and appreciate your continued support!

We have bikes!! What a wonderful change, to be headed into spring with piles and piles of bikes. Some things are still hard to track down, and we're not quite back to normal, but if you're looking for a sub-$1000 mountain bike or hybrid, we are stocked... and stoked... and stoked to be stocked!!

We're also pleased to welcome Revere bikes to our family. Revere is a small company in New Jersey that focuses on kids' bikes... think bike shop quality but without the heavily advertised budget. These bikes look great, ride great, and are typically about 20% less than the big brands. Sure, they aren't as cheap as the big box store bikes, but they use actual quality parts, rather than shoving chunks of greasy rope into the spots where ball bearings are supposed to go (true story!).
