Surfing is so much more than riding waves on a surfboard. First and foremost, it’s about feeling comfortable and confident in the ocean.

We like to say: you can’t ride waves in conditions you don’t feel comfortable swimming in. Because no matter how good you are, you always have to be prepared to lose your board.

Building ocean confidence, understanding the conditions, and knowing how to handle yourself in the water. That’s where surfing really begins. 🌊

And sunscreen. Lots of it. ☀️

Every wave caught, every bit of courage found, every high five, every cheer, every laugh, and every sandy smile… none of this happens without our incredible coaches.

These coaches aren’t just sharing their love for the ocean, they’re creating a safe space for kids to grow, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of. Their patience, enthusiasm, encouragement, and strength in the ocean all play a part in making each summer so special.

We are beyond grateful for a team that feels more like family than coworkers. 🤍

The five-week mark is always one of my favorite traditions because the kids get to hand out coach awards. This year’s winners were:

Hold up! Tomorrow is the last day of week #5?
Week 1 still feels like yesterday. I think we can all agree that time is flying by way too fast. Camp is too much fun and if I had one wish, I would wish for time to go by slower.
There is not one day that doesn’t feel like it went by too fast 🥲 grateful - because that only happens when you’re having a blast!

June flew by, but backpacking with these two for a couple nights and walking a whopping 13miles was my absolute favorite experience 🙏🙏
So grateful to have had the opportunity to make those memories with the boys!
