Re: COVID-19 & Faithful Fitness Studio
To the Wonderful Ladies of Faithful Fitness,
STATUS: As of March 15-16th, 2020, after extensive review of information available about COVID-19 and the most up to date [interim] guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC") and the NH Division of Public Health Services ("DPHS") and Department of Health and Human Services ("DHHS"), we at Faithful Fitness have decided to continue with our regular schedule of classes and circuit training, with adherence to recommendations from the CDC and the NH DPHS and DHHS and with consideration of information provided by the World Health Organization ("WHO"). Also, given our proximity, we will continue monitoring information released by the MA Department of Public Health (“MA DPH”).
**We will be re-evaluating the decision to remain open on an on-going basis, under the guidance of the CDC and NH Public Health Agencies**
At this time, we plan to continue with our usual hours of operation unless/until directed otherwise by the CDC and/or the NH DPHS/DHHS. Accordingly, all business decisions and practices are being made in reliance on federal, state, and local health department recommendations for continuing business operations following. More information may be found at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/organizations/cleaning-disinfection.html.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that while we remain open for business we will continue to closely monitor the regulatory guidance and directives released, and implement recommended preventative measures for the health, safety, and overall wellness of our small yet dedicated membership community at Faithful Fitness. However, we are also asking our members to educate themselves on how to protect against contracting or spreading COVID-19 or other illness. For more information on how to protect yourself, visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html. In order to stay healthy, we must work together to provide a clean, germ free, environment. Some suggestions include wiping down Studio equipment before and after each use, including any weights, yoga mats, and machines. In engaging in exercise activities, if there are products that you routinely use throughout each week, such as towels or workout gloves, please consider bringing your own, setting a pair aside for containment during this time, and utilizing other protective "gear" such as medical gloves or face masks based on your individual needs.
NOTIFICATION(S): We will provide important notices and relevant information primarily via Facebook, such as cancellations, closings [with estimated re-opening dates if possible], and any relevant health risks posed (or potentially posed) to members, as discovered. We will provide same-day notice of any intent to cancel classes or close for an extended period of time. Please remember to like and check our page.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Please be advised that by choosing to continue participating in public exercise activities at Faithful Fitness, you risk potential exposure to illness, specifically, in this case, COVID-19. If you are at a higher risk for contracting COVID-19 (individual , we ask that you remain at home and we will look into providing private electronic access to classes on a case-by-case basis CIRCUMSTANCES PERMITTING.
NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU BASE ANY PERSONAL DECISIONS ON THE INFORMATION SET FORTH IN THIS POST - it may be inapplicable or stale. It is highly recommended that you independently verify the accuracy and currency of all information provided to you over the next few months (at a minimum). Per the CDC, we are all advised to conduct individual self-assessments to determine risk levels, consulting with our primary care physicians as needed before partaking in exercise activities in the community; the CDC has also advised that individuals engage in self-observation, monitoring for signs and/or symptoms of illness.
