Eliana’s journey into cycling started the same way many great stories do, watching her older brother race in the Bicycle Racing League (BRL). Inspired by what she saw, she decided to give it a try herself… and she hasn’t looked back since.

Known for her relaxed and fun attitude on race day, Eliana keeps things light before competing and always celebrates a hard effort on the track with her favorite post-race treat: ice cream 🍦

Her biggest inspirations in the sport are Missy Schwab and Mandy Marquardt, two powerful riders she dreams of riding alongside someday. Her favorite place to race is T-Town, where the speed and energy of the velodrome make every lap exciting.

When she’s not riding, Eliana enjoys drawing, dancing in silly ways, and spending time with her cats. Her advice to other young cyclists is simple but perfect:

“Have fun and don’t worry too much.”

With her enthusiasm, talent, and love for the sport, Eliana Mumaw is one of the bright young riders representing the future of cycling.
