2026 Registered Trap Shoots - Paid Help Needed

Our 2026 Registered Trap Shoots begin on May 3rd, and we're in need of more staff for scoring & filling. The Club will provide both training, and pay for our members; as well as people from the community that would like to help us. Please share with friends!

This is a wonderful chance for kids, and adults to help out the club. It is an opportunity to meet new people make some money, and have some fun!

Below are our event dates:

May 3 Giaquinto Memorial
June 26-28 (State Shoot)
July 19 Bryne Family Memorial
August 23 OPEN
September 27 Margolis Memorial

We will provide a meal & check at the end of the day, or your shift hours. The day starts at 8:30am. Shoot end times vary. Don't worry if you can only help out for a half-day. We need support for these events, and even with physical limitations, we have things that you can do.

Veteran’s Appreciation Event

The Hartford Gun Club (157 South Main St, East Granby, CT), the oldest gun club in the nation, invites you to join us for our 13th annual Veteran’s Appreciation event! Proceeds donated to local and national Veteran / Law Enforcement / EMS charities and organizations.

Sunday, November 3th - 10am-3pm
- Veterans enter for FREE
- $5 per car for the general public
- Military Vehicles on display
- Emergency Vehicles on display
- Helicopter Rides (weather permitting)
- Food Trucks
- Shoot fi****ms from WWI to today
- Shoot a .50 cal!
- Shoot an M1 Garand
- Shoot an M1 Carbine
- Shoot an M16/M4
- Shoot revolvers and semi-automatic fi****ms used by the US Military
This is a fun event for the entire family. All fi****ms and shooting will be supervised by Safety Officers.
