The Hartford Gun Club is situated on approximately one hundred-twenty acres of land in East Granby, Connecticut just twenty minutes from Hartford and twelve minutes from Bradley International Airport. Our spacious and comfortable clubhouse overlooks five Trap fields, six S***t fields and a 5-Stand/FITASC venue. For bullet shooters, our nine lane, Indoor Pistol Range is open until midnight. Outside

shooting includes, "Action Pistol Pits", a fifty yard, Outdoor Pistol Range and a Rifle Range split into fifty, one-hundred and two-hundred yard distances. The club is open for year-round shooting to our eight-hundred members and is serviced by a paid staff.

Everyone is safe. Big props to East Granby Fire and Police for the fast response. We had a vehicle fire in our "outfield" which is by far the best place it could have happened.

Vehicle is being removed as I post this, contaminated soil will be removed shortly. Like it never even happened.

We HATE to DQ shooters. It's awful for them and for us. We don't want to DQ anyone, but today two people were DQ'd for the same violation: "ammunition at the safe table."

Safe tables are there for a reason, and it's clearly stated in our rule and safety brief that having any ammunition at a safe table is a DQ. We get it, you forgot, or you were just helping another shooter out. As I said, we hate it too...THINK before you go to a safe table at a match and make sure you don't have any ammo with you. We will both end the day happier.
