This is very interesting! What kinda of animal do my followers think this is ? I’m in upper central Illinois in between Peoria and Chicago.
I think it might be a fox but also resembles a Jack rabbit but don’t see the ears, thought maybe a skinny bobcat but this one has me stumped

Both of my youngest boys had a good season this yr the youngest on the right tagged out during the youth season and the middle boy on the left tagged out on the 2nd of the opener gun season for Illinois

We had a good trip to Saskatchewan for a 5 man group we took 4 bears 1 bear at 430lbs, 1 bear at 157lbs, 1 bear at 199lbs, 1 bear at 236
