Maushop Equestrian Center We are a quiet, welcoming horse stable located in East Falmouth where the art of horseback riding meets a passion for horsemanship. Here each student is unique.

Flexibility is the key at MEC. We try to place a student in a group where he or she will succeed. We have learned that age, experience, goals, and ability are all factors to be considered when teaching a student. Earlier this week, Sophie was able to begin Valdon’s under-saddle portion of his rehab journey, and today, Reen was able to start Spot’s. 💙

If you’ve been lucky enough to spend enough years around horses, you know that injuries are often part of the journey. No matter how carefully we manage them, there’s always a chance that at some point, a horse will need time, patience, and support to heal. 🥰

We believe that the care, dedication, and commitment we put into every rehab program, gives our horses the best opportunity to return to some form of work. But above all else, their health, happiness, and quality of life will always be our top priorities. 💕

We’re proud of the progress these boys have made and grateful for every small step forward. Cheers to summer, sunshine, and continued healing. ☀️🐴

Our sweet Spot suffered a leg injury back in October. We have taken his rehab slow and steady. This is day two of him being allowed in a larger paddock. We think he is just as happy as we are to have some wider spaces. We hope to see him back under saddle this summer, but our goal is always his happiness and soundness. 💙🥰🐎

We are very excited to be hosting our very first clinic at our new location in Falmouth! 🎉

All disciplines and level riders are welcome! This clinic will help you with the fundamentals of anything you would like to be able to get done with your horse. 🐎

Clinic fee: $205
Auditor fee: $20
Non-refundable payment needed to secure a participant spot.

Jason Drass is an experienced and talented horseman who has a knack for helping riders and horses with solutions that make sense. If you are looking to get to the next level, or just solve a problem that you haven’t been able to work through, he can help. His mentors include Tom Curtin and Bryan Neubert, and besides his own experience that has taught him many lessons in his years of riding and as a blacksmith.

Wednesday Night Jumper Show! 🎉

Reen and Let’s Just Be Glad (AKA Vinny) got a 🥉 in WTC Equitation, and a🥇 in WTC Suitability. 🏆

They also showed in Cross Rails Equitation and Cross Rail Jumpers. 🐎 Reen is really starting to get a groove with Vinny and we’re so proud of their growth! We are constantly thankful to Melissa at The Funny Farm for allowing us to love her boy, Vinny! 💙

We also brought Derby along for the trailer ride and exposure. 🌎 We’ve been lucky enough to have her in our barn for a full year now, and so we thought it’d be great experience for her to get off property. We’re very thankful to her owner, Gayatri for trusting us with her sweet girl! 🩷

Wanted to say a huge congratulations to Sophie on a great outing at NEDA Spring yesterday! 🎉

Sophie and Smitten (aka Lukas) had their first recognized show together. Lukas had a little moment of excitement during his test, but Sophie rode through it well, and they finished on such a positive note. 4️⃣

Sophie and Lord Atlas (aka Atlas) made their first attempt at Training Level 3. The test gave great feedback on their progress, and despite some extra energy, Atlas stayed together and showed just how much potential he has. 🥉

Every show is a learning experience, and we think both boys came home with even more confidence and knowledge than they arrived with.

A big thank you to Kyle for all your help with Lukas and for being the best groom! And, of course, thank you to Robin and Deb for all your support along the way. ❤️

We wanted to congratulate Aubrey on the partial lease of Natalia’s sweet boy, Will. 🎉 We can not thank Natalia enough for not only trusting us with him, but sharing him with one of our very dedicated young riders. 💙 We are excited for Aubrey to continue to learn from such a talented horse. 🥰
