The Stop the Bleed program is a 3-hour course that teaches how to recognize and stop life-threatening bleeding in an emergency situation.
The objective of the program is to teach individuals the skills to distinguish between life-threatening bleeding and superficial bleeding, which only requires pressure to stop.

Students will learn how to apply pressure, pack wounds, and apply tourniquets in a hands-on environment using training aids in class.

This training is designed to teach skills needed to react confidently and in a controlled manner to potential life-threatening incidents.

All certificates are included in the registration price of the program.

Maybe you've made your first purchase or maybe you're completely new to this world-- we have a class for that! Just as a note: you aren't required to have a FOID card when you take classes with our Instructors.

Here are a few Intro Classes to get you started on your journey.

🟨🟪Intro to Handguns/Women's Intro is a great start. You will learn safety, fundamentals, and there will be range time with a .22 LR Handgun.

🟨Intro Part II: .22 Pistol Skills is the next step for people looking increase their knowledge in the range and set good habits. This class isn't required but is highly recommended.

🟨Intro Part III: The Gun Buffet is a perfect class for people that have solidified their range skills. We have 25+ choices in 9mm and .38spl to try out in the range, this class will help you decide what you might like to purchase.

🟧Handgun Skillbuilder is a next level class for people that have handgun experience. You can take this class if you have had previous experience outside of G*T, or if you feel confident after taking the intro classes.

Our Next Intro the AR-15 is Tomorrow!

The AR-15 is one of the most common rifles in the world. This class is for the folks that bought a tactical rifle and don’t have a lot of experience with these gas operated guns, or for the newer shooter that wants to learn how the parts interact inside function.

The class will also cover:

🔸Disassembly and proper cleaning
🔸Zeroing optics, and iron sights.
🔸We also will teach you common areas to watch and look for wear build-up, as well as, tools needed to properly maintain your black rifle.

This is a hands-on interactive class where you will be working on your own rifle. We may have some class rifles available, upon advanced request, for those students that haven’t purchased their rifle yet.

Dear ISRA Member,

This is to inform you of a new ordinance the Kane County Board is trying to pass. The ordinance would prevent you from target shooting on your own property. This would include rural property. If any citizen would like to have a chance to speak at the board meeting you will need to register no later than 8:30 a.m. on the day of the meeting. Registration may be completed electronically on the County's web site www.countyofkane.org; in writing at the County Board Office (719 Batavia Avenue, Bldg. A, 3rd Floor, Geneva, IL 60134); by fax (630-232-9188); or by telephone (630-232-5930) during normal business hours which are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

You should attend the Kane County Board meeting to be held on November 2, 2022 at 9:00am.
