🏆⚽ HISTORY MADE ⚽🏆

We are proud to announce that our Cardinal Boys Soccer Team are Conference Champions for only the 2nd time in school history! 🎉

Even more special… this is our FIRST time being UNDEFEATED Conference Champions 🙌🔥

💪 Undefeated at home with a perfect 5-0 record
📈 Finished the season 8-5 overall, a huge leap from last year’s 6-10 season.

This group has shown what hard work, resilience, and belief can do. We couldn’t be more proud of the growth and history they’ve made this year! 💙⚽

Regular Season has come to a conclusion, but we move onto Sectionals on Tuesday against Hammond Central at 5pm, located at Lake Central. We would love to have the support to push us through these games ahead 🙌🏻

THIS WEEK FOR THE CARDINALS !!

This week was/is action packed for your Cardinal Boys Soccer Team!

First and foremost, some of our boys were invited to do a college visit to Indiana Institute of Technology on Wednesday to watch the #17 NAIA Warrior Men’s Soccer game. We were able to watch a game, take a tour of the campus, meet the coaches, and watch the men have a comeback victory. Great experience for some of our boys!

Yesterday, we took on a very well coached Hammond Academy of Science and Technology in a nail biter! The boys were down 1-0 going into the half but found a way to pull away the 2-1 win with our game winning goal made by Allen Garcia with a minute left in the game!

Tomorrow, we are having the Boys and Girls senior night against Hammond Morton with Boys kick-off at 12pm and the girls kick-off at 2pm! Please join us to thank the seniors for their dedication and hardwork on their day!

Recap of Yesterday game against Michigan City Marquette:

Cardinals were able to take a 4-0 W against Michigan City Marquette, on our very first home game of the season. Wasn’t the cleanest nor best game but we pull another clean sheet in the books.

That is our 3rd win of the season, to go along with our 3rd clean sheet of the season.

We were able to bring back a 7-0 win and lead us into a really busy weekend with two games on Saturday.

Tough loss today to a very tough Hammond Central team. The boys fought hard and like we said, we have a ton to learn and today was an amazing learning experience for the boys and coaches!

Keep our head high and back to the drawing board. We go back Tuesday against another great region team, Bishop Noll!

Doesn’t get easier but we’re up for it and ready!

Tuesday, August 27 at 7pm. We make the small trip to Bishop Noll. See you all there!

Today our boys had their first official game of the season against Demotte Christain.

Our JV was the first to take the field and were able to take a 3-1 W.

Varsity were able to keep the train rolling and were able to take a 5-0W. First win of the season against a very solid Demotte Team.

Next up: Away against Hammond Central High School at 5pm CT.
