What started as a simple idea of a fundraiser has become so much more!! When the Dowling family started the Softball Tournament there was a simple goal, help raise a few funds for Challenger Baseball. A special friend, Jim Wharmby, saw the writing on the wall and stepped in to help, even in his passing he remains involved in the tournament through his family helping support the event each year. The event has become so much more than a simple fundraiser. The event allows softball players to play for someone else, and WITH someone else.

You can be sure that when the Brewers vs Pirates / Giants vs Red Sox / Diamondbacks vs Guardans games are happening there will be as many (or more) softball players on the fields as there are challenger players. The smiles the laughs the memories will be talked about for the years to come.

Don't miss this special day. There is still a chance for your players to be involved. Call Tim Dowling at 330-224-7336 for your chance to be part of the action (open to all current Canton Challenger Players)
