Several of our youth trap shooters competed with the Evans City Black Gold youth trap team at the SCTP regionals in Marengo Oh today. Everyone shot very well.

Special congratulations to Lucy Doutt and Alana Geibel on their 2nd and 4th place finishes in the Ladies Senior varsity class with scores or 97/100 and 96/100

WOW, that was fast! In just over two and a half hours 300 seats have been filled for our 2026 youth field day!

We do still have a few spot on the waiting list if you would like to sign up.

If you find out you are unable to attend, please contact us so we can open your spots for others.

The Butler City hunting and Fishing Club youth league will be starting our indoor archery and air rifle programs Sunday November 2, 2025. The programs will run Sundays through the end of February. Archery meets from 2pm-330 and air rifle is 3:30-5:00. Both are open to members 8-18 years old. The cost for each program $20 and archery has an addition $1 per week target fee. The club has several bows for shooters to use if they do not have their own. The air rifles used are specialized low speed target rifles, the club will supply these. Please let us know if you plan to attend or have any other questions.

Due to weather we will be cancelling today’s youth trap shoot.

The club has some tickets left for this months raffle. It is for a ready to hunt flintlock package or $900. Five numbers on a ticket for $10. Only 200 will be sold. Message if interested or stop out to our youth trap league Sunday 4-6.

Youth League Archery & Air Rifle starting on 11/3 for youth between the ages of 8-18.

Archery: 2:00-3:30
Air Rifle: 3:30-5:00

We will meet Sundays, November - February.

$20 league fee.
Must be a member of the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club. If you are not a member, your child can join for $10.
