D-N-D Stables Guided Trail Rides

D-N-D Stables Guided Trail Rides Guided Trail Rides on Horseback in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont where you actually get to ride D-N-D Stables has been offering trails to folks since 1998.

We started small and have stayed small with only 7 horses, which gives us the opportunity to personalize each ride and give the riders an opportunity to actually get to control their horses with instruction as needed. If you are a more experienced rider, you will be pleasantly surprised that you get to actually ride, whereas beginners will learn a bit about riding. We are very laid back and don't

micro manage our rides. We stop to graze and enjoy the views along the way. With many repeat customers, you won't be disappointed when you ride at D-N-D. Please note we can only take those 13 and older out on the trails unless they have had lessons. Younger or more timid riders can ride in the ring. Also we do have weight restrictions given the limited number of horses available.

Ever think it would be fun to bike with horses? Well we are considering offering this at D-N-D Stables starting this summer.

Would be interested to know what you all think of this idea?

We are open for trail rides —- the horses have been off all winter and are sometimes more spunky on the first few todes but if you’re a confident/intermediate rider no problem; if you’re a first time rider I would recommend waiting a few weeks to book your ride with us 😉🐴

These are the days of my life 😬🐴🤠 The never ending shedding and the endless manure piles

Trails are still too soft to ride yet but hopefully by mid - May will be able to start some rides

Keep in mind the first few rides I prefer to take out those riders with a little more experience as the horses haven’t been ridden all winter
