With 2 inagural races, something never done before by a new project league, NY is off and racing! NICA http://www.nationalmtb.org is the organizing body for creating mountain bike race leagues for high school age athletes, and NY is on their development schedule. Behind every start, finish, result, and race-day celebration is a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes. Having people who understand racing AND care about the athletes makes all the difference.

💙🚵 Let's Give Back to Someone Who Has Given So Much.

If you've been part of the New York cycling community, chances are you've met Chuck Tarbay.

For decades, Chuck has dedicated his life to serving others—from serving our country in the U.S. Navy to supporting the Capital District Scottish Games, leading his local American Legion, volunteering with NICA New York, and giving countless weekends to the cycling community alongside his wife, Ellen.

He's the kind of person who's always the first to lend a hand, cheer on a rider, or quietly do whatever needs to be done—never asking for anything in return.
Now, it's our turn.

Several years ago, Chuck was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. As it has progressed, riding the bike he loves has become increasingly difficult. Together with Endless Trails Bikeworx, NICA New York is raising funds to purchase Chuck a Marlin 8+ e-bike—a bike that will help him continue doing what he loves.
This bike isn't just about transportation. It's about freedom.

It's about helping Chuck continue volunteering at NICA events, getting around race venues with ease, returning to the trails for exercise, and staying connected to the community he's spent a lifetime building.

If Chuck has ever helped you, inspired you, or simply made your day a little better, we invite you to help us give back to someone who has spent his life giving to others.

🌲🚵‍♀️ Throwback Thursday to Kingdom Camp 💙
Some rides end when you get back to camp.

The memories? Those last a lifetime. 🥹

From miles of singletrack and river swims to camp games, karaoke, Olympic challenges, late-night laughs, s’mores, new friendships, and all the little moments in between…

Kingdom Camp was so much more than a week on bikes.

It was a week of trying new things, cheering each other on, getting a little grittier, and creating memories that our campers will carry with them for years to come. 💙
