So, Joe and I have made the difficult decision that we will no longer be the directors of the NEBassin Eastern MA - Big Boats going forward in 2026. Our sincere thanks to all of our loyal friends and fellow tournament bass fishermen for participating with us along this journey over the last 5-6 years. Hoping to see you along the way in 2026.

Just a quick reminder that this Saturday's NEBassin tournament #7 (October 25th) is at Wequaquet Lake in Barnstable, MA. It is not at Mashpee-Wakeby. Sign-In is at 6:00 AM and we go at 7:00 AM. We still have a few slots open for this 10 boat event.

Please note that NEBassin event #7 currently scheduled for October 11 @ Mashpee-Wakeby has been changed to October 25 @ Wequaquet Lake in Barnstable. Also, note that this is a 10 boat permit! Please post here if you are planning on fishing.

Event #7 currently scheduled for October 11 @ Mashpee-Wakeby will be changing to October 25 @ Wequaquet in Barnstable. Date has been confirmed to be available and Special Permit Application has been officially approved by the town of Barnstable. We'll see you on Saturday, October 25th at Wequaquet. Please post here if you are planning on fishing.

Friday morning's update - 17 boats signed up for Big Bass. Still looking for more. 100% payout gets better with more boats so consider giving it a try! Looking like a great day tomorrow. We'll launch at the Long Pond state ramp and have pre-tournament meeting at Captain Bub's Marine on the west side of the pond. Let me know if you have any questions and if you want to fish just post you name here!

Quick update based on several questions. The fee if paid at the ramp will be $150.00 (not $175.00) due to some unforeseen complications with registrations. Current boat count is at 16 so we have 9 slots still open. Post you name here if you want one of those 9 slots!

Currently have 15 boats signed up for the Captain Bub's Big Bass Tournament Saturday. This is a 100% payout open tournament. It's a fun day with 4 2-hour mini tournaments. Still room for more boats, give it a try, you'll like it!
