HECCR defeat SOH by 9 wickets to win the trophy! Bowling first HECCR restricted SOH to 138 runs led by a brilliant start by Ahson Shahid with the ball, taking 2 important wickets in the first over. Well backed by Harris Hassan from the other end. Mubashir Ahmed, Rameez Kapadia, and Naeem Siddiqui continued the good start and picked up wickets on a regular basis. Ahson finished with 3 wickets, followed by 2 wickets for Rameez and Naeem. Harris and Mubashir picked up 1 wicket each with Harris only giving away 23 runs in his 4 overs.
Chasing the total Irshad Naqvi and Naeem started off very well. Irshad scored a quick fire 75 in 43 balls with boundaries and massive sixes all over the ground. Naeem contributed with a quick fire 51 not out in 28 balls.
CONGRATULATIONS HECCR on winning the playoffs and lifting the trophy.

Congratulations to Mubashir Ahmed and Rameez Kapadia for being the top 1 and 2 in bowling. Congratulations to Naeem for his all over performance. 2nd in batting and 1st on the MVP list.

Houston Eagles (Greens) won an absolute nail biter against a strong HICC-1 in HCL T20 Premier League game played this Sunday. HICC controlled most of the game but in the end Eagles snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Asked to bat first after losing the toss, at one stage Eagles were 53 for 6 down in the 10th over but recovered well to score a defendable score of 132 in 20 overs thanks to important partnership between Altaf Khan and Moied Siddiqui. Altaf top scored with 48 not out. Moied scored useful 21 and Ahmed Butt also chipped in with 23 runs. While chasing, at one stage HICC were 89 for 2 in the 10th over and had complete control over the game but Eagles made a remarkable comeback and bowled HICC out for 128 runs and winning the game by 4 runs only. Amir Syed was outstanding in his second spell and finished with 4 for 23. Abdul Raheem also took crucial wickets in his spell of 2 for 25. Altaf Khan was also brilliant with the ball in his 4 over spell of 1 for 15. Ahmed Butt took the last wicket in the final over when only 5 runs were required off the last 6 balls to wrap up an important win for Eagles.

HECC Greens took care of business with a comprehensive victory against HICCII by 134 runs to win Division 1 Championship. Batting first HECC put up a big total of 197/7 with Sulieman Jaan leading the way with 69 runs, well supported by Abdul Raheem Khan 41 runs. In response HICC were able to only score 63 runs. Faisal Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for only 10 runs. Economical opening spells by Altaf Khan and Fahad Durrani set the tone from the beginning. Altaf khan picked up 2 wickets. Well supported by Abdul Raheem khan picking up 1 wicket for 14 runs.

Abdul Raheem Khan finished the season with the highest wicket taker and MVP for Division 1 while Altaf khan finished as the second highest wicket taker with 10 wickets for the season.

HECC had a good day on the field as both teams won their respective games.

Batting first HECCG scored a mammoth 302/5 in their allocated 40 overs. Led by a supreme 165 by Abdul Raheem Khan with 10 fours and 10 sixes, supported well by Sulieman (27), Altaf (30), and Naeem (33).
In chase HICCII were only able to score 149 all out in 24.1 overs. Abdul Raheem picked up 4 wickets and Rameez Kapadia picked up 3 wickets.

Batting first HECCR scored a modest total of 141 all out. Led by 28 from Azar, 26 by Harris, 19 by Moied, and 18 by David.
In reply Challengers only managed to score 90. Anand Patel was the pick of the bowlers picking up 5 wickets for 27 runs, supported well by Harris with 3 wickets for 30 runs.

HECCG made 2 victories in 2 games by defeating HCSCI by 34 runs.
Batting first HECCG scored a modest 147/9 in their allocated 20 overs. Maaz Kapadia held the innings together by scoring a brilliant 51 off of 32 balls.
In chase HCSCI were only able to score 113/9 in 20 overs. Fahad, Abdul Raheem, and Naeem each picked up 2 wickets; backed well by Rameez’s economical 4 over spell for just 15 runs with 1 wicket.

HECCG won their 5th game of the season by defeating StallionsX by 7 wickets.
Stallions won the toss and decided to bat first scoring 172 all out. Abdul Raheem and Faisal picked up 3 wickets each, supported by 2 wickets by Naeem.
Eagles chased the score in 31.2 overs with just 3 wickets down. Abdul Raheem top scored with his 3rd century of the season in 7 innings, scoring a brilliant 107 runs.
Abdul Raheem is the top scorer in the division with 551 runs with an average of 110.

HECCG made it 4 wins in 5 completed games by defeating HCSCII by 70 runs.
Batting first HECCG scored a sub par total of 178 all out. Abdul Raheem Khan top scored with a brilliant 74, supporter by Fahad’s 29 runs.
In response HCSCII were bowled out for 108. Naeem picked up 3 wickets supported by 2 wickets a piece for Maaz and Abdul Raheem.

HECC Reds won their 3rd in a row by defeating Trailblazers by 104 runs. Batting first HECCR put up a big total of 311/6. Young Aazar and debutant Divyesh led the way along with a solid 40 by Omer. Divyesh on his debut scored a superb 109 off of just 69 balls; Aazar Jaan scored a brilliant 97 off of 96 balls.
Chasing the score Trailblazers were all out for 207 runs. Taha khan was the pick of bowlers with 3 wickets, well supported by 2 wickets each by Omer and Divyesh.

HECC Greens dropped a hard one to CCC by 3 wickets. Batting first HECCG put up a decent 277/6. Abdul Raheem Khan scored his second century of the season, scoring a well crafted 109, he was supported well by Noman’s 50 and Naeem’s 60.
CCC chased the scored with 7 wickets down. Naeem picked up 3 wickets and Maaz 2 wickets.
