Approximately 1/8th mile dirt kart track with pit parking nestled in the old oaks along the San Bernard River.

Lengthy read but wanted to let folks know. When I decided to build the track I have had nothing but hell with the river. The San Bernard river has no river authority in regards to maintaining flow for drainage. The building in the area all around and to the north has increased by about 40%. The river however has had an overgrowth increase of 500% since Harvey. Simply put there is nowhere for water to go as you can see in pictures and this wasn’t even a lot of rain in comparison to previous. These floods do lots of damage and erosion so I will keep y’all posted when I get it all lined out. Sorry for the constant delays and say a prayer for Riverside that our river luck can some how get flowing in the right direction.

Trent did an inspection of track from 1200 ft, says it’s ready to go, see y’all tomorrow racing starts at noon which gives everyone time to shoot over to Texana as there kart races start at 5. if ya plan on making it drop a line and see y’all tomorrow!

Made this video 2 days ago and the time I found is April 1st. We will be racing all classes with gates opening at 10:30. Practice starts at 11:00 with the racing action starting at 12:00. We are starting at noon to give folks plenty of time to get to Texana to race there later in the afternoon/evening. Folks are welcomed to stay after races and practice as well. Look forward to seeing everybody there! 🏁

The races started at 6pm and it did not disappoint. We had a first here at Riverside with Mother Nature topping the podium in every class. Can’t say we didn’t give it our best effort and I appreciate everyone that made the attempt to race with us. Will post soon when we get the next race date figured out. See y’all soon and stay cool🏁

After working the track yesterday and the rain today the track is looking good. I do hope the afternoon showers stay away for Friday though😳. Also we will have a kart doing some R&D work with the new predator “ghost” kart engine. Kart will be DQed but with the new line of engines coming out we wanted to do a direct comparison with the great karts currently running. Look forward to seeing everyone on Friday gates open at 4pm racing at 6 with all classes running. It’s free to race, watch and eat so bring a friend🏁

July 29th on a Friday we will be racing, it’s hot & dry now but I will work diligently to have water in the track by race day. All classes will be racing gates open at 4pm racing at 6pm. Shiner Kartway will be racing this weekend so check out their page for all the info. Look forward to seeing everyone soon but in the meantime say hydrated and cool!

10am update, We ARE Racing ! The track got some rain overnight but we will have a surface “may have some character” to race on! Looks like the rain is moving away and hope we dodge any pop up showers in forecast. Gates open at 4 racing at 6pm. Free to race, watch and eat so bring a friend and come hang out. This pic is not what is raced at Riverside but of my 13yr old in a full size sprint car and I thought it was cool! The car in pic will be raced by Kent Lewis Jr at Texana this Saturday and the karts will be running there as well. Also karts will be running in Needville and Texas Race Ranch on Sunday so lots of racing this awesome 4th of July Weekend. See y’all at a track soon🏁!

Working on track currently on this Thursday morning 8:30 am. Opening it up a bit to take the rain that is suppose to come in tonight. If we get more than we can handle, I will post at 10am Friday. Just wanted to let y’all know We are giving it our best effort! Friday gates open at 4pm with racing starting at 6pm. Hope the weather cooperates and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow🏁!

Going to try something a lil different at Riverside. Tracks working together in this crazy economy is a must and after talking to Owen Pittman about squeezing in a date that won’t create overlap we are going to a have a Friday evening race July 1st. Gates will open at 4pm with racing starting at 6pm. July 4th weekend will be action packed as there will be racing at Texana on the 2nd and Texas Race Ranch on the the 3rd. Needville will be having Kart racing at the fairgrounds on the 3rd as well with plenty of time to make it to Texas Race Ranch that evening😜. I worked on the track for hours yesterday and hope for a lil rain just not to much before this awesome weekend of racing. Look forward to seeing everyone and drop a line if you are gonna try to make it.

Sunday May 22 races are cancelled. Explanation in the video, I got everything ready which isn’t a small job but sometimes you got to make a tough call😢.

Sunday May 22nd we will be running karts after the positive interest we received. This dude in the pic is Rayce, Dayton Rummage’s son. Dayton and his son have been a huge supporter of Riverside. He will be in Ft Worth competing that weekend as he is one heck of a BMX racer. His pops hasn’t been kart racing as much but wanted to say good luck, we have been missing y’all but keep up them awesome rides🏁. All classes are running gates open at 11 racing will start at 1. It will be warm so a few mins to get ready, “helmet and jacket on” will be given to drivers so they y’all don’t burn up in staging lane. Look forward to seeing y’all there🏁.

As I looked at this track this morning I hate that it’s not raced on more. With the crazy schedules my kids have it’s been tough. I am thinking of trying to hold a Sunday race on May 22nd in the early afternoon. I know it may not be ideal but trying to figure something out to get this track some use. Please comment below if you would consider attending and we will lock this date in by Wednesday if we get enough interest.
