Important Update - Sam’s Academy
Dear Sam’s Academy families,
After 14 years of serving the Berlin community, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Sam’s Academy of Gymnastics for good. Our last day of classes will be Saturday, May 23, 2026. This decision does not come lightly, but after a lot of reflection and due to personal, medical, and family reasons, we know this is the right step.
We will be hosting a final Farewell Open Gym on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 12:30–2:00 p.m. Current and former students and families are welcome to come play, take photos, and enjoy one last day in the gym together.
Over the past 14 years, Sam’s Academy has been a second home for so many kids and families. We’ve watched toddlers take their very first forward rolls and cartwheels, seen nervous beginners grow into confident athletes, and shared countless high‑fives, hugs, and laughs along the way. Being able to watch that growth over these years has been one of the greatest honors of our lives.
In the coming weeks, we will be sending out more information about how any remaining credits or refunds will be handled, as well as recommendations for other local gyms so your athletes can continue their gymnastics journey.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for trusting us with your children and for being part of the Sam’s Academy family. This truly is the end of an era, and we are so grateful we got to share it with you.
