Belk Park Championship Golf Course 18 Hole municipal golf course Belk Park at 234-acres is the largest park in Wood River.Located on Rock Hill Road at the eastern edge of the city.

In addition to the 18-Hole Championship Golf Course, the present facilities include a lake with fishing, picnic areas, a ball field, children’s playground equipment, shelters (which can be rented by visiting City Hall), woodland and open space. Belk Park has a clubhouse for rent with a nice-sized multipurpose room and seating for 168.

🚨 COURSE CLOSED TODAY 🚨

Due to the amount of rain we’ve received and continued wet conditions, the golf course will be closed today.

The forecast ended up being about as reliable as your buddy over a 3-footer, and unfortunately the course took the worst of it.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing everyone back out on the course soon.

Mother Nature got the better of us again… we took on about 4 inches of water overnight, so the course will be closed today. 💧⛳️

We’ll give it some time to drain and dry out, and we’re hoping to be back open tomorrow in good shape. Appreciate everyone’s patience, we’ll keep you updated!

⛳ Now Hiring: Rangers & Starters at Belk Park Golf Course!

We’re looking for a few reliable and friendly people to join our team at Belk Park Golf Course this season. If you enjoy being around golf and helping create a great experience for players, this is a great opportunity.

Available Positions (Weekend Shifts):

Saturday & Sunday

• Ranger: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Starter: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Ranger: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

⛳ Course Update 🌧️

After checking conditions this morning, we’ve decided to give the course one more day to dry out before reopening. As much as we’re all ready to get back out there, a little extra patience now will help protect the course and make sure it’s in great shape for everyone.

The course will be back open and ready for play Monday! 🌤️🏌️‍♂️

Think of it as the course taking one final recovery day before we get back to chasing birdies and complaining about missed putts. 😄

We appreciate everyone’s patience and look forward to seeing you out on the course soon! ⛳
