Belk Park Championship Golf Course 18 Hole municipal golf course Belk Park at 234-acres is the largest park in Wood River.Located on Rock Hill Road at the eastern edge of the city.

In addition to the 18-Hole Championship Golf Course, the present facilities include a lake with fishing, picnic areas, a ball field, children’s playground equipment, shelters (which can be rented by visiting City Hall), woodland and open space. Belk Park has a clubhouse for rent with a nice-sized multipurpose room and seating for 168.

☔️ Mother Nature is a fickle foe! Sadly due to the rain over night and the monsoon this morning, we shall be closed today. 😔

🚨 COURSE CLOSED TODAY 🚨

Due to the amount of rain we’ve received and continued wet conditions, the golf course will be closed today.

The forecast ended up being about as reliable as your buddy over a 3-footer, and unfortunately the course took the worst of it.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing everyone back out on the course soon.

Mother Nature got the better of us again… we took on about 4 inches of water overnight, so the course will be closed today. 💧⛳️

We’ll give it some time to drain and dry out, and we’re hoping to be back open tomorrow in good shape. Appreciate everyone’s patience, we’ll keep you updated!

☔️ ⛈️ We’ll be closed today at Belk Park Golf Course due to the storms moving through.

The video might look like we’ve got golf balls falling from the sky, but that’s just a little hail making an appearance ❄️.
