Welp! It finally happened at the DC Last Chance tournament… Coach T officially got sent to the parking lot! 🚨 (Okay, fine… the concession stand, but let’s keep it dramatic!) 🍿🌭

​Look, I never encourage arguing with umpires—though I’m known to push the envelope—but when it comes to player safety, I will advocate for my team every single time. 🥎💪

​When Blue can’t define rules made specifically to protect players, like interference (an offensive act that impedes, hinders, or confuses a defender making a play), they need to be called out. Lack of due diligence on safety is how kids get hurt.🏥

​That being said… apparently my Sophie Cunningham impersonation didn't go over well. 😅 Guess sarcasm and current-events humor aren't in the rulebook!

​Bottom line: If you’re going to do a job involving kids, know your job—especially the safety rules.
​Until then, I’ll be rocking the ponytail at the snack bar! 🔥

Day 1 of the Last Chance Tournament hosted by DC Fastpitch is officially in the books, and what an unbelievable day of softball it’s been!
Having college coaches on the dirt and watching all these talented teams showcase their skills is always incredible—but watching our girls do their thing out there today? Absolutely priceless. 💙💛

This weekend is a special one for EC Bullets Upstate. It’s our summer "last hurrah" before these amazing young ladies trade in their cleats for backpacks and turn back into full-time students. Just like that, another incredible summer season is coming to a close! 🥹

Today we kick off Bracket Play, and you can literally feel the excitement and energy building with second before heading to the field (or maybe that’s just the caffeine kicking in after a few extra sips of morning coffee! ☕️⚡️).

These girls are primed, hungry, and ready to chase another win today. The recipe is simple: ✨ Keep having FUN ✨ Play for each other ✨ Clean up the little errors

Win or lose, one thing is guaranteed: these girls have won this Coach’s heart forever.

​Upstate family, it’s the final summer showdown at Tyger River Park! The showcase is literally named "Last Chance," so no pressure, right? 😉

​Players, college coaches will be running the dugouts this Saturday! Want to stand out? Here is your quick survival guide to looking like an absolute pro:

​🚨 The "Don't Blow It" Checklist:

• ​💼 Treat it like a job interview. Jersey tucked, hat on straight, headphones OFF. (Yes, the TikTok playlist can wait).

• ​⚡ Hustle like your phone battery is at 1%. Sprint everywhere. Back up every play. If you aren't moving fast, you're moving too slow!

• ​🎭 Master the Poker Face. Got a terrible strike call? Smile, reset, and pretend it was all part of your master plan. Scouts are watching how you bounce back.

• ​🤝 Be human-adjacent. Make eye contact, give a firm handshake, and say "Thank you, Coach!" like you've been practicing in the mirror.

​As we kick off our HS travel ball journey together, I want to share a quick thought on where we’re heading. The road ahead is incredibly exciting, and our growth starts with a great reminder from legendary coach:

Better late than never—because honestly, we were probably tracking a game changer or looking for a lost batting glove! 🥎💨

​A huge, slightly belated Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible EC Bullets Upstate dads out there!
​From the early morning turf warmups to the late-night drives home smelling like dirt, sunflower seeds, and victory, you guys are the backbone of this crazy softball journey. You are the ultimate bucket dads, the unofficial dugout coaches, the cooler haulers, and the loudest cheerleaders in the complex. Thank you for investing your time, your passion, and your sanity into these girls. They are building great memories because you're right there building them with them.

While we are making great progress in our journey into high school-level play, we need to start demonstrating consistency.💥

🥎🔥 FUELING THE FIRE IN CHARLOTTE! 🔥🥎
​The EC Bullets Upstate SC are officially holding it down in Charlotte, NC this weekend at Top Gun’s "THE ORIGINAL SUMMER WORLD SERIES"! 🏆 With powerhouse teams locking horns from four different states—Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina—the competition is as fierce as it gets!

​Our ladies had a gritty start, dropping a tough 4-2 battle in Game 1. But you can't keep this squad down for long! They bounced back like absolute bosses in Game 2, locking it down for a 2-0 SHUTOUT win! 🚫🧢

​Right now, we are all just waiting on those bats to fully catch fire... because the defense is already BURNING UP THE HOUSE! 🏠🔥 There is truly nothing like coaching these kids. They are full of heart, packed with mental toughness, and possess the kind of skills that kill on the diamond!

​Soccer legend Mia Hamm once said:
​"I am building a fire, and every day I train, I add more fuel. At just the right moment, I light the match."

​These ladies have been doing exactly that—building, grinding, and constantly adding fuel to the tank. Stepping up to the HSU Division means facing off against top-tier, high-caliber opponents, and honestly? I cannot wait to see what happens when that match finally lights.
