Firecracker Frolic 5K The Easley Firecracker Frolic 5k has been run in Easley SC since 1992. With help from the community, we hope to see over 300 this coming year.

Easley Sporting Goods store was the first to present the event and the Easley Lions Club took over in 10 years ago as a fund raiser for the Easley Lions Club. The Fire Cracker Frolic is a timed 5k road race and is one of the oldest continuous July 4th road races in the upstate of South Carolina. It is run on the streets through downtown Easley starting and finishing at historic Old Market Square,

with walkers welcome and encouraged. This is a premier event that over the years has generated a great deal of interest and publicity. In 2012 there were over 200 participants in the event (with nearly double that number watching or supporting friends and family members) and was featured in news stories in the Greenville News and Easley Progress.
