🥋 SENSEI AARON IS LEAVING THE DOJO… 🐉

While I’m off at Dragon Con doing extremely important martial arts research (and possibly fighting my way through a horde of nerds), the dojo will NOT be left unattended!

Introducing our Guest Instructor: Deajon Love! 👊

Deajon will be stepping in to cover classes while I’m gone.

I told him to keep everyone disciplined, focused, and working hard.

He asked, “So basically, I get to yell at your students while you go play?”

I said, “Exactly.” 😂

So while I’m out there battling dragons, superheroes, Klingons, and whatever else Dragon Con throws at me…

Deajon’s got the dojo. 🥋🔥

Be good for the guest instructor, folks.

Because if you make him regret saying yes, I WILL HEAR ABOUT IT. 😂

Congratulations to our Karate kids on becoming Americans!!

🇺🇸 Yesterday was an EXCITING DAY for one of our Summit Academy SC families, as they officially became US Citizens! A few of our staff members were able to surprise them at their special ceremony! 🇺🇸

🥋 Sensei Mo traveled to the 50th Ryukodo Kobujutsu Weapons Seminar! 🥋

What an incredible weekend of training, tradition, and camaraderie at the 50th Ryukodo Kobujutsu Weapons Seminar with Hanshi Peter Carbone and Hanshi Ron Nix of Ryukoku Seidokan!

It was an absolute honor to train alongside such fantastic Masters and dedicated karateka. Seminars like this remind us that martial arts are about so much more than techniques—they’re about preserving tradition, continuing to learn, challenging ourselves, and building friendships that last a lifetime.

We are truly grateful for the knowledge, wisdom, and spirit shared throughout this amazing seminar. 🥋❤️

Osu! Keep training, keep learning, and keep the tradition alive!

We are feeling incredibly blessed at Hobbs Family Karate! 🥋❤️

Last night we had the largest class we have ever had, and seeing so many students on the floor learning, growing, and supporting one another was truly amazing.

We are so thankful for every student and every family who continues to believe in us and be part of our karate family. This is what it’s all about—building confidence, discipline, character, and lifelong friendships together.

Our hearts are full, and we couldn’t be more grateful! 🥋❤️

We’re so happy and thankful to have you as part of our family!

What an EPIC way to wrap up an incredible summer! ☀️💦❤️
Our last day of summer camp was packed from beginning to end! We started the morning with lots of laughs as the girls had a blast playing with Snapchat filters. Then it was off to the pool for some fun in the sun before enjoying lunch together.
The afternoon was filled with learning and adventure. Our campers participated in CPR training, where they learned and practiced life-saving skills that could one day make a real difference. Then we had the opportunity to explore a fire truck before cooling off in the best way possible—with over 1,000 gallons of water spraying everywhere for one final, unforgettable water battle!
What an amazing way to end an unforgettable summer. We are so thankful for every camper, parent, volunteer, and supporter who made this season such a success. Your trust and encouragement mean the world to us, and we truly couldn't have done it without you.
Thank you for making this summer one we'll never forget. We can't wait to see everyone again soon! 🥋❤️☀️

Just taking a second to show everyone that our campers did an intro to cpr class today. They also learned about the heimlich maneuver.

Zoopocalypse was fun and some of our campers said "a little scary but im fine with it".

Little birthday cupcakes for one of our summer birthdays. The cupcakes didnt survive the ordeal.

3 days of summer left. Time flies when you're having all the fun.
